Thursday Night 'Tending
Once a long time ago, when Tom first came to Milliways, Bar would only give him lukewarm tea and not the finest quality of scotch. However, that time is long past, Bar gives him the best, and Tom is quite fond of both her and the people who tend her.
So he's more than happy to step in and take a shift. He's armed with three large bartending guides (including The Swinging Wizard's Guide to Entertaining) and a wand, with which he writes on the board:
Tonight's Specials
Apple Martini
Havana Green
Stinger
Kermit
No, it's not St. Patrick's Day, folks; we just have a Slytherin tending bar.

They're going to have trouble picking wedding colors otherwise.
"Evening, Tom," Mia says, happy yet obviously tired from work. It seems that she's spent the day out since, along with her usual robe, she's wearing a cloak and the scarf Nash gave her.
Which is currently pink, meaning she's happily discovered that it's charmed to change to match her outfits.
"Do you have any recommendations?"
no subject
Plus he knows how to make it.
no subject
Why not? It can't be any worse than the time she tried absinthe with Master Salazar.
"How have you been?"
no subject
"There you are," he says, sliding the glass to Mia. "I'm very well. Thought I'd pitch in a bit to help out."

Not that Larry knows anything about that. He just knows that if Lewis and Clark don't stop arguing over how to map the museum and actually do something to that end soon, he's likely to knock their heads together-- and hey, here's that bar again. With somebody actually tending, no less.
So he heads over and says, "Just some hot chocolate would be great, please."
no subject
He Accios the hot chocolate, landing it carefully before Larry.
"There you are."
no subject
He already half suspects the answer will be 'magic.' But it can't hurt to ask, and anyway, sometimes Larry has a short attention span.

Harry pours one glass half full and the other just a smidgen.
He points at the short glass while ashing.
"Chaser."
Harry's smile is broad and genuine.

"Know how to make a Cat's Eye?"
Yrael has respect for Specials themes, especially when they're green.

Door, dressed in her customary ragged black, rests one hand on the bar.
Fingerless gloves are very comfortable.

Tonight has been fun, but it's nice to know his shift is over. Bartending is rather exhausting.
