He doesn't look like a wolf, but she can tell. It's him, it has to be - even if the Doctor said he'd never return. So she does what she does best when confronted with ultimate evil. She shouts defiance. "Back off, weasel features! I'm not yours anymore! You were beaten!" she snarls vciously, her back pressed against the hard wood of the wall behind her.
*Bigby pauses at this odd series of statements. He picks from the interesting series of questions that pops up in his head the one that seems most productive.*
Now, had Ace been in a calmer frame of mind, that question might have tipped her off that all was not as it seemed. But she was, of course, by no means calm at this time. "Bloody right, you git! Go away!"
(OOC: Dies. Laughing.) "Ace. I'm Ace. The Doctor's companion, ya know, the one who bloody beat you last time?" If anything, the venom in her voice has only increased.
"Nice try, Fenric." She snarls, through the tough-girl image is a bit ruined by the tears streaking down her face. She has never been so frightened in her life, especially since the Professor isn't here to help. "I'm not bloody buying it. I'm not going to serve you again!"
Ace really doesn't know what to say to that. She isn't about to let her guard down though - the last time she trusted someone other than the Doctor the last time Fenric was around, she had ended up playing right into Fenric's hands. So she goes with the repetition routine. "Bugger off!" she snarls, pressing back as hard as she can against the wall as if she is trying to push her way through it.
There is a loud click directly behind Bigby. Jamie MacCrimmon is standing there, rigid, tense, and holding a heavy (and cocked) flint-lock pistol aimed directly at Bidby's head.
"Aye. She is my friend...and ye are threatening her!" Jamie holds the gun leavel with the man before him. He doesn't know who he is, only that he has Ace apparently cornered and very scared.
Actually, no, I'm not. *Bigby disagrees with the threatening bit.*
I'm trying to tell her I'm not "Fenric" whoever that is.
You, on the other hand, are very clearly threatening me, the head of security here. I'd suggest you put that down. *Bigby is being rather reasonable (for him anyways) at the moment. Freaky.*
Ace, finally, has come to the decision that it is time to be very, very quiet. She has to grin though - evidently there are some reflexes learned while with the Doctor that never go away.
*Reassuring, however is in Tims vocabulary. And as he sees Bigby menacing someone who's friends with his childhood idol, he attempts to be so again. Tim slips up beside Bigby, smiling slightly.*
Hey boss, everything okay?
*He smiles at Ace*
You all right Ace? don't mind the boss his bark.... well, it's not worse then his bite, but he does sometimes bark a lot... No offense boss.
Ace isn't sure if she should be trying to back up what Tim is saying or if she should attempt to ream him out for even talking to Fenric. Doesn't he know what kind of danger he's in?
*He'd continue, but then somebody joins the conversation (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/1892353.html?thread=72417537#t72417537). With a gun to Bigby's head.*

See, this is the problem.
*He sticks out a finger for each point.*
First, my name's Bigby.
Second, I don't want you to serve me.
*She calls herself a companion, and we all know what euphemism that's for. He's not interested in her services.*

*Reassurring really isn't in Bigby's repetoire, sadly.*
... I have a tendency to kill or maim them. *Cue a very predatory lupine expression here.*
