Clark entered the bar a few hours ago. So far, he's spent most of that time outside by the lake, enjoying the cold weather. People tend to ask fewer questions here about his lack of appropriate winter attire than they do at home.

He's back inside now, having obtained a cup of hot cocoa from the bar, along with a few books. Currently, he's settled in a chair nearish the observation window, idly flipping through a travel guide to Argentina.

"Yeah, good luck to you with that. Whenever I get out of here, got someone to find myself."

"Guess it's the day for lost people," Clark replies sympathetically. "Can I ask who it is?"

He nodded, "Sure, he's been in here, but from before my current time. It's my brother. There was an explosion, and I don't know what happened to him afterwards. Can't do anything for a long time either. Not as I am now."

"I'm sorry to hear about your brother," he offers sincerely. "How do you mean, 'as you are now'?"

"About 100% positive now that part of me is stuck in a hospital bed back home somewhere. While the rest of me's here. Still able to fly though I'm not sure how."

"...part of you is stuck in a hospital." Clark shifts his gaze to the main door. "You mean out there?"

"Yeah, I know it doesn't make much sense. Barely understand it myself."

Clark nods, though still a little confused. "How'd you figure it out?"

"Just some ideas. Was told I wasn't dead. And I think I woke up back there briefly a few times now. Whenever I wasn't in a chemical coma. Probably doped to the gills on pain killers."

Nathan added, "Had to do something then. Couldn't just let my brother put himself through that alone."
