Conversations with bar napkins:

"How have I managed to rack up a bar tab that big so quickly?"
You keep buying your girlfriend wine and expensive gifts.

"Did you have to make it sound so judgmental?"
You could always go home and not pay for the room.

"Or I could just stop paying for the room I'm not actually sleeping in."

Are you going to tell her that or am I?

"Weren't you going to go to sleep?"

Robin appears from the rooms above, with a book tucked under his arm - two books, actually. After talking to Karkat all he had in mind was to find what books the library had on programming in ^cake. Both of them are definitely "^Cake for Wrigglers" in their scope and format, but he doesn't care, it's a start.

Five minutes later he's lying on the couch by the fireplace, his head dropping off the edge of the seat a book propped up upside down on the floor in front of him,

Occasionally he'll bring his left hand around in front of him to use the plasma-laser projection screen in his gauntlet. Otherwise he's as happy as a teenage nerd with a book on computer programming.

Oh yeah, and turbingTurdus is signed on.

No, you haven't been imagining it. Captain Kirk has not been around that much lately. Life, in the form of his final journey aboard the Enterprise-A is nearing its end in two months. And that means he's trying to squeeze in as much exploration as humanly possible.

Never mind all those rumors about something big happening to the Klingon homeworld. It's not his concern. Except that the Klingons are always Starfleet's concern.

But today, Jim wants some fresh air and sunshine. He might even visit the stables, though he isn't in a riding mood. But a chat with a horse might be nice.

[ooc: Find Jim either inside or out.]

Autor's first list was long and easily compiled; everything on it--food, chemicals, first aid kits--was easily procured and stored away. What's worrying him now is his second list. It's significantly smaller and becoming more and more uncomfortable to write:

Rae - unstable door
Mia - too many favors!
Oswin - can't go outside

The boy taps his quill against his lips to figure out whom else to add--and possibly cross off--next.

[OOC: Plotlocked, apologies!]

The circle of chairs is set out in one corner of the bar. In the middle is a table of yummy food, applicable to all dietary requirements, with cakes and doughnuts, tea, coffee and soft drinks.

Around the table, reaching each of the chairs, is a giant roll of bubble wrap, which the Life Support team are therapeutically popping.

Teja is in the main bar room today, brooding over papers spread on a table. They show technical details of motorcycles, but seem to need much rumination.

Occasionally, he marks something with a pencil.-
