"What do you recommend?" Shufti asks, planting a quick kiss on his shiny head, even if she has to stand on the side of her barstool to do so.

CJ grins, kissing her lips, just a quick peck. "Depends if you prefer a hard drink or a light one?" He strokes his wife's cheek with fingertips, smiling.

"A light one, I don't want to get Leah drunk in turn." Shufti says, sitting back on the stool.

"If that is possible. Can breast feeding pass on alcohol?"

"Hmm, no idea. Try this." He draws her a pint of pale lager. It is a light and refreshing beer.

"Don't want our little girl getting drunk."

"Such a man's drink!" Shufti says with a laugh. "Not for little babies."

"How is your shift going? The children are sleeping at home, with Kendl watching."

He nods, looking over the Bar at large, then back to his wife. "Just started, quiet until now. Was quiet last time too, but the patrons who came over were good people."

"You look very professional." Shufti says. "I have always wondered, does this bar have a club behind it, like the ones in Borogravia used to?"

Good question... "A club? You mean, a big stick to hit people on the head if they try doing something bad?" CJ starts looking behind the bar, on the shelves, for some unruly-patron-medicine-stick...

"Yes." Shufti says. "Although I suppose Bar might produce one, though she's not in the habit of giving out weapons."

Hmm, none at first sight. "Dunno, she is not like... asleep, during happy hour? Charging up?"

"I will talk about it with Mike."

"I shouldn't worry." Shufti says, "I was just curious."

"Not worried. But might be a good idea if someone starts trouble after a few drinks." Since the Bar is still quiet, he draws his wife into another light kiss.

"Call Security, that's what we're here for." Shufti says, kissing him back. "If you get trouble, your wife will rescue you."

Thankfully for everyone, Sam Axe has pants on when he goes and sits at the bar.

"You know, I've never had a Chinese beer," he remarks.

CJ grins a bit, drawing a pint of Tsingtao. "So dis' one is on me." It is a pale lager, with a well attenuated body and noble hop bitterness.

"Not something you find in the places I normally go to," Sam says. "Half the time, you're lucky if you have a choice of Bud or Miller."

"Eh, after a long day a guy's gotta have a good beer." He nods, offering a hand. "CJ."

Sam shakes the offered hand. "Sam Axe," he introduces. "Sometimes, a guy needs one in the middle of that long day. Especially in Miami heat."

CJ smiles a bit. "Sin City. I've heard you have two weather packages, grilling hot and hurricane..." Yes, everybody is a comedian, but at least CJ is not really trying to be funny.

"Sounds about right," Sam says with a little shrug. "Though that does mean you get bikini weather year round,, practically."

And CJ raises a brow. "In Los Santos we have Bikini Weather all the year. And no hurricanes." Even the heaviest rain is mild compared to what Miami gets.

Hmm, idea, get Betty to try a bikini.

"But then again, you don't get the ocean air," Sam says. "And all the fun with Cuban nationals."

"Man, we do have all the ocean there, just out Seville or Santa maria Beach, all the way to San Fierro, all the state coast." And of course, he has to clarify, right? "Back home, its San Andreas. It covers what in other worlds is California and Nevada..."

"...I thought Los Santos didn't sound familiar," Sam says.

He nods. "Los Santos is where... Los Angeles is, in other worlds." CJ is clearly still bothered by the concept of other Earths.
