Melpomene drops into a bar stool.

"I need a tequila." After a moment, she adds: "If you wouldn't mind."

"No problem." CJ nods, fishing a bottle of añejo, pouring it into a proper glass. "Here you go ma'am."

It is good tequila, not the pipe cleaner some people drink.

And Melpomene knows the difference. She takes a sip--

"Mm. Perfect. Thanks."

"Yer welcome." The OG nods. "It's real Mexican tequila, aged three years to take of the edge but not the punch, not the drain cleaner some people drink."

"I lived in Mexico for a while," she says. "I know what it should taste like."

"Oh, dat's good: can't take it when I serve something good to someone who does not know it." He nods to her. "Carl Johnson. CJ."

"Don't worry." She smiles. "I do know."

And she adds, "I'm Melpomene."

The name causes a brief moment of raised brow, then he nods. "Gotcha." But he does not, really. "Been around 'ere long?" Just making bartender small talk while nobody else joins the happy hour.

"Not this time around. Been here off and on for a few years, though."

"Hm. I come and go much like as I please... never been bound or something." CJ takes a water bottle for himself, drinking.

"Good for you," she says. "Personally, I like being able to leave, you know. Sometimes."

"It's good to not be stuck, Milliways is a nice place to visit but I don't want to be away from family and kids too long. Or having them being raised just here if they were here with me and my wife."

Alucard notices Happy hour yet again and finally decides to say hello. He must be really bored.

"Slow night?" he asks the bartended.

"yeah, people seem to not be feelin' like some simple drinks tonight." CJ offers a nod.

"Hmm, I don't drink...alcohol anyway."

"So... what's yer poison?"

Even if the general creepiness is already hinting CJ.

"What are you?" he makes a point leaning forward and sniffing.

CJ raises a brow. "Not on the menu." Nope, no fear there.

Alucard laughs, "And she does provide."
