Door swings open, a pale girl walks in. New clothes, same blank expression, a book in her hands, the first thing the Fledgling does is check the sign she left, and then move to a seat.
Definitely not by the fireplace or the observation window, both being way too distracting and at times unnerving: a nice booth will do.
The book holds her attention for all of three minutes, before she closes it and focuses on people-watching.

She tilts head to the open space in the booth.
An invitation.

"Greetings," he says. "Have you found volunteers yet?"
He has seen her notice.

Pause.
"What did the literal young man look like?"

"Literal-Gospel-Boy looked nervous. He is stuck here and worried about debt. Short hair, a face that seems innocent but a mind that is not. He feels... hmm... a bit like me. But not like me."

Pause.
"The other, though, might he be one to cause trouble? If it is a mortal with a mind like yours?"
Predator, of some sort. One need not be a literal monster to be dangerous.

"Gospel is a round peg in an oval hole." He does not fit right. "He feels... off center, but not spinning to balance."
You can learn a lot from tasting someone.

He knows, as the one drunken from, as once he had a blood-drinker as a lover.
"Recommend Urquhart and his good blood to the other vampires, and he might just be distracted enough to no longer cause trouble. The other, though, I hope will not start acting up."

"The Wolf might not appreciate being drank from so much, from others. I've learned my Kiss feels... special."

Pause.
"I meant to make him sound like pea soup."

"And not bad company either."
