Mardi Gras, Day 1
There is a tall, leggy blonde leaning at the bar, sipping coffee and watching people.
She is wearing jeans and sneakers, and a low-cut, bust-hugging blue shirt.
She's only existed in this form since the morning, and she's very curious about life from a woman's perspective.
She might have a switch-blade knife in her pocket, but no way is she concealing a crossbow anywhere.
Approach to entertain her?

Lucky for him the face is as good as the chest, right?
'Want a drink?'
He says it like he's sure she won't say no. Why would she? Bar gave him a good shirt, his jeans are clean and the marks on his face aren't too obvious. Besides, some women like the rough look, yes?

Urquhart has learned self-control as well as camouflage when he trained to be a killer. So there is no danger that any of his amusement will show as laughter or even a too-bright smile on the girl's face.
She looks Ramon up and down. Mostly down; she's still taller then he, but not really much.

He doesn't mind her looking at him like that - his height doesn't bother him and he just assumes she's checking him out. Which is, after all, why he came over.
no subject
"Dry white wine," she says, leaning sideways to give him the advantage of her cleavage.
Thanks.
no subject
'Can I tempt you to a shot to go with that?'
He gets a good wine for her. Nothing cheap.
no subject
She leans forwards, smiling at him sweetly, and affording him even more of a view.
no subject
'Everything's best if it's enjoyed fully,' he murmurs, his mouth curling up on one side.
'I'm Ramon.'
no subject
She sips her wine. "Nice to meet you, Ramon."
no subject
'I'm new here. You should show me around.'
He's never anything but direct and the implication is pretty clear. And to him, she's clearly making an invitation so why not?

"Those who don't have that good a sense of smell won't be tipped off by your appearance, at least. I get recognized whatever shape I take," he says.

"None at all, alas alas," she says, grinning as the light dims to nothing.

She can't put her finger on it, and that's annoying.
She'll be watching her until she figures it out.
no subject
Only giving the briefest of indications that she's noticing Saffron at all.
They don't know each other, after all, do they?
no subject
After another moment, she sidles up to the bar and orders a coffee of her own, giving no indication - for now, at least - that she intends on pursuing a conversation.
Until she speaks.
"You're new."
no subject
She looks at Saffron.
"You get the most interesting people here."
The blonde is still taller than Saffron, but nothing near as tall as Urquhart. But tall, for a woman.
no subject
"Have you met anyone specifically who piques your interest?"
no subject
Beat.
"Of course, enough start out boring and never get any better."
no subject
"Some prove to be nothing but disappointments."
