It's gotten to the point where Annabelle has to do maintenance on her weapons and armor in shifts. At the moment, she's doing maintenance on the first batch in one of the booths downstairs. Feel free to boggle, inquire, or start a conversation.

That's good too.

"You look worn out," Annabelle says, concerned.

[alertcommando]

"Holding myself back to not punch some bureaucrats." The woman sighs. "But it's done, we will be heading to eastern Europe in a few weeks."

"Better you than me." There are many reasons that Annabelle was never in the military, bureaucracy was one of them.

"A few weeks? Why the delay?"

"They have to choose the agents they will be sending, some reconnaissance, some diversionary maneuvers." Tanya shrugs. "Now I can not blame them really for being cautions now, if Vladimir, Yuri or Romanov finds out, they might retaliate with their ballistic missiles."

Annabelle winces at the mention of ballistic missiles. "I can definitely understand their caution, in that case." There's nothing like a close encounter with a nuke to make you cautious.

She nods again. "Think we could use more people to help? I was checking the maps of the area we will be in, breaking in two or three teams would make things easier."

"It wouldn't hurt," Annabelle says with a grin. "Terrible as we are, we can't be in more than one place at once."

"And this time, we will need to be: there is a lot of things to do before we can knock out Romanov's missiles."

Will's always curious about armor and new sorts of weapons so looks over at Annabelle's table on his way upstairs after his workout. He's holding a longbow and wearing a sword.

Most of Annabelle's weaponry is in the gun family, although there are knives in the bunch and what looks like a chainsaw that's been fixed to a sword hilt.

Will's curiosity catches her eye. "Hello," she says with a smile. "I don't believe we've met?"

"Nay, dinna think so. Do ye wield all o'these?"

Annabelle nods. "Not at all once, of course," she adds with a grin.

She extends a hand to Will, "Annabelle Newfield."

"Will Scarlett."

He says with a grin back as he shakes her hand,

"That'd take doin'."

"Pleasure to meet you."

She laughs at his response. "That it would. A lot more hands than I possess, to be sure."

"Oh aye, can only manage so many at a time meself."

[aeons_crackshot]

"That's probably just as well," she says with a smile. "You'd look like one of the Hindu gods if you had enough arms to manage more weapons at once."

She has an observer, blatantly staring.

"That's...a lot of guns."

Bobby has obviously been swimming outside, since his trunks and hair are damp, and there is a piece of lake grass stuck to one of his legs (he hasn't noticed it, yet.) He's pulled on a tank top and a pair of battered sneakers, but he doesn't seem cold at all.

There might be steam rising from his skin, even though it's warm in the bar.

The steaming prompts a raised eyebrow. "That it is," Annabelle replies with a grin.

"I've got a bit of a collection going by now."

"Something tells me that you're more than collector."

She looks way to practiced at what she's doing.

"Maybe a one person army?"

Annabelle chuckles at that. "I don't think I've ever had that particular term applied to me, but there's not too much hyperbole in it."

"Hyperwhat?"

He's had the word 'hyper' attributed to him more than once.

"Hyperbole, an exaggeration or an overstatement," Annabelle explains.

Apparently, all of those years working with educated people has rubbed off a little.

"Oh. I get it."

He gestures toward the arsenal.

"Should I be worried that you're starting an insurrection in the bar?"

"Nah," Annabelle says with a grin. "These are just some things I've picked up while helping some friends back in their worlds."
