Guppy is enjoying not having to watch his back, and is looking refreshed and relaxed today. No Urquhart to bother him. No nasty administrator at work. He's even finished his paperwork.

He's now sitting with Carlotta, who was also at a loose end, playing what appears to be a Milliways version of Guess Who. Or so it would sound from the questions.

Carlotta peers at her game board for a moment, then asks.

"Are you human or human-like in appearance?"

"No."

Carlotta flicks down some of the little pictures.

Anyone else want to play? They're close to the end of the game.

Gus frowns at the fan and struggles to pick just one out without Guppy seeing it.

"Kay," he says slowly, looking at the picture on it. "Do I give it back, or what?"

"No, you put it in the groove on the front so that I can't see."

Guppy puts his own card in his game board's groove. The rest of the cards are on little flaps so that they can be eliminated.

Gus shouldn't be so surprised that a card game would require using his fingers, but what're you gonna do?

He eventually manages to get the card in the little groove and makes sure all of his tiles are up.

"Got it."

"Okay. Are you female?"

That earns a strange sort of look from Gus. "I'm assuming you mean the person on the card," he says. "So... yeah."

"You a guy?"

"Yes. Are you under 21?"

Gus has to think on that. "Yes?" he says cautiously.

"You have dark hair?"

"No. Do you have any special powers?"

"No," Gus says definitively. "Are you from our time?"

"Er... close to I think. Within a couple of decades at least. Are you good with technology?"

"I think so. Are you a person?"

"Yes. Are you a crimefighter?"

"Nope. Are you a superhero?"

"No. Are you a criminal?"

"No," Gus says, not being able to help a laugh at that one. "Are aliens common where you're from?"

"No. Do you work in a hospital?"

"Nope. Are you under 25?"

"Yes. Do you have kids?"

"No. Are you American?"

"No. Are you?"

"Yes. Do you carry weapons?"

"Not that I know of. I hope not. Do you have long hair?"

"Long-ish, I guess. Do you play an instrument?"

"Yes. Are you Jordan?"

"Nope," he says curtly. "Are you Jools?"
