Happy Hour
Asher was minding his own business, walking past the bar when a napkin folded up into an origami crane fluttered past his face. Catching it relexively, he unfolded it, read the note upon it, and looked at the bar.
"If I must..." He sighed, knowing it was futile to try and outstare Bar. He rolled his eyes, shed his coat and stepped behind the bar, scrawling specials on the board and rolling up his sleeves.
One mildly cranky vampire, three themed specials courtesy of Jean-Claude's various establishments in St Louis.
Specials
Albino Vampire
Vampire's Kiss
Coffee Of The Damned
Halfprice drink if you can come up with a vampire-themed cocktail that doesn't involve tomato juice or rasberry liqueur
[Open until 11pm GMT, slowtime of pre-existing threads after that]

"Greetings, Asher," Teja says. "So you had that duty inflicted upon that as well, even though you may not taste what you serve others."
He looks at the specials board.
"I would start with elderberry juice, honey, and strong spirits, warmed slightly, to make something looking like blood and palatable to mortal man," he remarks.

"Will you sit with me? If I am to take over from Bar, then at least I should have some company."

So she takes a look over the specials for a hint and can't find any from the names alone.
"I'd love to take part in your offer for a half price drink," she tells Asher as she sits down. "But it seems I'm absolutely rubbish when it comes to vampire knowledge to use for it."
This must change.

"There are as many different kinds of vampire as there are people, cheri," he murmurs. "I can only explain my own kind. We drink blood to live, and must sleep when the sun rises."

"You know, I'm not sure if I've ever had raspberry before. I've seen things flavored with raspberries when my husband and I would do the shopping in his parents' country but I don't seem to remember having raspberries in my home."
And she never bothered to try them in England, it seems.

She was rather relieved about her master being 'alive', however his disappointment in her not drinking his blood was a sharp pain in her conscience. He was also mean, and didn't think she deserved a name yet.
She sighed and sat on a stool and rested her face on her hands.

"Is anything wrong?" He asks softly.
no subject
"Oh, no, not really," she said embarrassed as she waved her hand in the air, "I was just thinking."
The Nervous grin was just a little sharp.
no subject
"Thinking? Such a serious face, they cannot have been happy thoughts."
no subject
"My master is mean," she said.

Shockingly enjoyable, in some cases.

"So I have been told," he murmurs. Nathaniel, for one, is quite a fan.

"It is a very pleasant accompaniment to a pleasant evening," Yrael says, grinning lopsidedly. "Though I have not had such a heady cocktail made by you, I hear you come highly recommended."
The mun's not even going to try counting double-entendres, any more.
