This time, Raven marches into the Bar, sans her brother.
A napkin appears to greet her moments later.
"Really?" Beat. "Sure I will."
Specials
Mai Tai
Manhattan
Margarita
(And then a little further down - )
Blue Colada
It is her favorite color, after all.

Raven falters, wracking her brain for the rest.
Another napkin appears.
"Oh, yeah. Right."

"Is there any other juice in there?"
no subject
She nods upon receiving Bar's written confirmation.
"I'm better at drinking than making."
no subject
She sits on a barstool, pushing her silver headband back.
(To the discerning, she may smell a little like slime and brimstone.)
"Mai Tai sounds awesome, please."
no subject
She's finding the bottles as Bar provides, which means she's actually finding them a little faster than she would be on her own.

She's leaning forward comfortably on her elbows, a home-from-work sort of posture.

Is it her second? She pauses in movement to consider. They'd done so much the first time, it'd almost felt like two trips wrapped up into one.
Not that she's complaining.
no subject
"Cool!" she adds. "Well, welcome."
Another smile, this one crooked.
"Is it weird enough for you yet?"
no subject
She tosses her hair back with a flick of her head, considering again.
"I'm used to weird."
no subject
"So ... what's your world like? Mine kind of sucks, but it definitely didn't prepare me for this place."
no subject
She's attempting to backtrack, realizing what her words could potentially lead to a discussion of - and only moderately succeeding.
"You - learn to deal with the unexpected."
no subject
Her eyes narrow pleasantly.
"Are you a spy?"
Maybe a magical spy. Like Liz!
Okay, Liz is more like a ghostbuster.

"I'm just used to a world where some people are, uh, different."
no subject
"Me too, I guess," Ava agrees.
"Well. Given value of 'used to.'"

She steals an unused piece of pineapple from the cutting board, taking a bite.
no subject
She wrinkles her noise.
"Peoria, Illinois, if you've heard of it. If not, you're not missing out."
no subject
And yet she blinks at the mention.
"No, sorry. Now I'm wishing I had."
no subject
"I mean ... it wasn't that bad? But we were never gonna be as cool as Chicago."
no subject
Or it had been, aside from some of the obvious racism.
no subject
"I mean, it's ... usually a pretty safe bet. But not all the time."
no subject
She squints at Ava.
"So there are people from - not-Earth?"
no subject
"Space, hell dimensions, other planets ..."
no subject
"Maybe I need one of those."
no subject
Ava picks up her glass and sips speculatively.
"It's mostly earth in here, if it helps," she offers.
"Just ... weird kinds of earths."
no subject
Maybe she should be sitting for this conversation.
