William loves the Milliways' stables as they're big, most of the horses are friendly and he can always finds some space to himself. Their barn at home does what it needs to and he has a spot for hiding stuff in it, but his responsibilities are more there.

Today he's taken care of a few chores around the barn and has been introducing himself to a beautiful mare that recently arrived. Horus is exploring and William's not too concerned about him as the forge cats keeps an eye on him when they're here.

Once he's done checking on all the horses, he plans on sitting on the back porch of the Bar with a book and enjoying it feeling like Spring.

"Which one's he?" Enzo strokes the mare's neck.

"Over here," He heads over to the stallion's stall, which isn't too far away.

"Oh, it's you," Enzo addresses the horse. "Hey, you."

The stallion whinnies but is currently enjoying his daily oats at the moment.

William watches, he's curious what the horses must make of Enzo as he's not sure what to make of him.

Enzo picks up on William's curiosity a little:

"We don't have horses in my world. They're cool. I don't know what they think of me, but they seem to get used to me. Anyway, I can't smell a thing in here, so I figure I'm the best person to do the shoveling, right?"

"That's one way to look at it. How strong are you?"

As smell's part of it but usually the issue with manure is that its heavy and gets stuck to itself. William's grown up around horses so it doesn't bother him.

Enzo smirks. He's naturally big, after all, and has been in training since before that became evident. Sprite clothing, usually skintight by its nature, makes his muscles fairly obvious. "Want me to pick you up?"

The smirk gets a look from William,

"But the horses can't smell you. Don't they get nervous when you're around?"

"Only at first. They really do get used to me, mostly. Heck, my dog got used to Milliways, and he can't smell almost any of it."

"And you've learned how to ride?"

He still doesn't quite get why Enzo's working here, for William it makes sense, he knows horses and they're part of his life.

Enzo likes animals. And he finds the stuff that isn't part of his normal life interesting.

"Well... a little. And I already knew some from Games and my dog. It's not quite the same, though."

"No, it ain't. Horses are horses, only way to learn and know them is to spend your time with them. I've grown up around them because we've always had them,"

Horses work in William's world but they're also friends that you trust.

Enzo nods.

"When you have to ride horses in a Game, you just automatically know how, the Game gives you the skill. But you don't really remember how afterward, not so you could do it properly. Riding Frisket was more help, but it's ages since I was small enough to do that."

"No, I'd think ridin' a dog wouldn't help that much. They listen to you in different ways."

"Well, yeah. I could just tell him 'turn left here' or whatever."

Mostly it was just good practice keeping his balance sitting astride a quadruped.

"While horses listen to your legs and the reins and some talkin'. Well, just keep safe and don't get stepped on or kicked,"

William's amazed it hasn't happened yet but clearly Enzo does fine. Though William doesn't see much of a reason for him in the stables as he seems more of a greenhorn than someone who knows anything about horses.

"I'm being careful. Kate's taught me some already."

As far as riding goes, sure, he's even greener than normal. But he's learnt to clean tack, how to feed and groom the horses, and he can shovel like a boss.

"That's good and she's here when you're in the with the horses?"

As William wouldn't feel comfortable having Enzo on his own with how the horses seem confused by him and how he's still learning about them.

"When I'm working close with them, yeah."

Only the new horse was confused. The ones who've had time to get used to him really aren't bothered. He has been working here for a good while.

William nods as he doesn't really know what else to say.

"So... what's processing with you lately?"

"Not too much, things here are mainly back to normal,"

Katya's still not back but William knows she can take of herself.

"Yeah. Were you here during it?"

"I missed the worst of everything here because I ended up in another world. What about you?"

"Stayed here until close to the end. Fought monsters for a while, but then the part of Milliways that lets sprites be here started to break down, so I had to leave."
