Some time after this sign goes up, Guppy settles down at the bar, with the List, trying to work out who is still here.
They haven't checked it for a while, he notes, looking at some of the names.
[ooc: Please see post here if you play a medic, a healer, or a helper and would like to be on the list
If you have never met Guppy or Simon and want to be on the list, feel free to tag here or leave one of them a note.]

"Maybe. If she doesn't, though, it's not the end of the world."

"Not when I was tiny. It was really only... a day and a night, just before I came here."

He nods. "All of them are from that night - or the few days after, the survivors. Except Bossuet, he's from long before."

"He was one of us. In 1830, he was taking part in a different uprising - came in here just after a flowerpot or something hit him on the head."

"It was", he says quietly. "The poor just kept getting ground down, the rich didn't care. It was a powder keg."

"They're better. Trust me, they're better."
Those memories are still a dark place for him, when he looks back on them.

He looks back at his list. "I'll put you down as a first aid trained helper then?"

"Yeah, do", Gavroche agrees. "You've taught me a lot, and there's my wizardry too."

"Yeah, I can heal myself if I have to - but only if it's something I really have to do, and it's harder than healing other people."
