Some time after this sign goes up, Guppy settles down at the bar, with the List, trying to work out who is still here.

They haven't checked it for a while, he notes, looking at some of the names.

Gavroche wanders over, glancing curiously at the paper.

"Hey, Guppy."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Hey Gavroche." Guppy looks up. "How are you doing?"

[street_sparrow]

"All right. 'Ponine's getting stronger by the day."

Amazing what good food on a regular basis will do.

[guppy_sandhu]

"That's wonderful." Guppy smiles. "Is she... is she past the point in your timeline where she would have died?"

Elrond reads the notice and looks around .
It would make good sense to make sure that people know that he too is able to help, should the need arise.

Since he knows neither of the people mentioned, he walks over to Bar and asks her, if she will deliver a message for him to either of the two people mentioned on the notice. Unaware that he is standing next to one of them.

Guppy hears his name, and looks up.

"Hi, I'm Guppy, can I help?"

Elrond smiles.
"I saw the notice," he says, indicating the notice board with one, elegant hand, "and I figured that I had better offer my services."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Excellent." Guppy grins. "Remind me your name and what you do?"

Elrond has been around a long time, after all, he's easily spotted around here. But Guppy doesn't think they've met for any period of time before.

"Doctor Guppy," Olivier presents himself with a small bow. "I know I am not skilled in the way of healing and have much to learn but would be glad to offer my help if I can be of assistance to you?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"That would be great, thanks Olivier." Guppy says, smiling at him.

"I'm sure there are ways you could be of assistance... if you don't mind it being a bit gory."

"I am a soldier of the cross. I have been in many battles. Blood does not scare me, sir."

"Okay, if you need help you have to tell us, okay?" Guppy smiles and writes his name down.

Nynaeve glides toward Guppy, having asked Bar for information on the newest manager of the infirmary.

She's wearing a green dress, with a shawl fringed in yellow draped over her shoulders. There's a dot of red, a ki'sain on her brow, and her hair is brown and shoulder-length.

"Doctor Sandhu?"

Her voice is just as brisk as her walk, all told.

"Bar told me I could find you here."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Hi." Guppy smiles. "That's me, yes."

He recognises the lady - someone who has been here a while - but can't remember her name.

"Can I help?"

"It's more that I thought that I might be of some help, to you and to the infirmary. I am Nynaeve Sedai, of the Yellow Ajah. You might have met Moiraine here, in the past? She's been a frequent guest of Milliways for quite some time."

Much as Nynaeve used to be loath to admit it.

"If not met, then I'm sure in passing." Guppy says.

He offers her a handshake. "Nice to meet you. And that would be great, thanks! Are you a healer?"

It is, with a fair bit of navigation through several people if they'd seen a Guppy Sandhu - because Rory would like to speak to him, and sorry for bothering their drink - that Rory is directed towards the good doctor's spot at the bar.

Approaching, Rory puts on his best professional face, and clears his throat.

"Dr Guppy Sandhu?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"That's me." Guppy looks up and smiles. "Can I help?"

"Hi," Rory begins, smooth as ever, "my name's Rory. I'm a nurse back where I'm from, which is Earth."

You know, because specification is always a good thing.

"Anyway, I saw the notice over there -" Rory gestures to it "- and I was wondering if there were any positions available for a nurse here. Just to help out when needed."

Doctors could always use nurses. And he's a damn good nurse, too.

"I was here during the Allpocalypse. I helped during that time, so I've got some experience with otherworldly medicine and patching up humans and non-humans alike."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Nice to meet you Rory." Guppy says. "And sure, we can definitely use a nurse for emergency work or looking after people who are inpatients."

He writes Rory down on the list.

"It's generally emergency work. We usually have people as volunteers but we can pay expenses, if for example you have to stay in and look after someone."

Charles noted the sign going up and comes over to Guppy with a pot of tea,

"Hello, Guppy. I thought you might need this and I'd like to do what I can to be official."

Guppy nods.

"Thanks Charles."

He accepts the tea - he's been looking better since Charles helped him get some sleep a few weeks back. somehow that settled everything back into some sort of equilibrium.

"With what happened we though we'd better take stock of who we have working for us regularly."

"That makes sense. Is there anything you'd like me to do? How are you doing?"

He seems better but Guppy takes on a lot on himself.

Hank had seen the notice about Dr. Sandhu, which made him think of the first aid classes and how good it felt to know he could help someone in trouble. It also reminded him that he still had more to learn and so when he spots Dr. Sandhu, he heads over.

"Dr. Sandhu? Hank McCoy, I hope I'm not intruding?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Not at all." Guppy smiles. "I think we met before, at some point."

Aside from him knowing Hank's fluffy predecessor here.

"What can I do for you?"
