Thanks. Oh, you know, dangerous mission with possible future Dark Lord who I think I may be falling in lo--- who I'm rather fond of. Looking for my five year old sister, who I want to find, but am afraid of finding. Um. That about sums it up, I think.
*catches breath at site of Door, then tries to look calm and collected* Door, so glad to see you. I have but a short time at present, but may I buy you that dinner I promised?
You look lovely, but a bit pale. Are you worried about tomorrow?
I know. I don't know that *this* Tom is going to turn into *your* Lord Voldemort. I don't know... the temporal stuff, alternate universes, it makes my head hurt. I'm sorry.
Let's just say that I think you're good for him. He's not Voldemort yet. Besides, Crowley and I had a bit of a conversation about evil last night, and I've started to realize that the waters are much muddier than I'd like to think.
And, he makes you happy, and therefore can't be all bad, right? *grins*
I'll thank you not to whisper behind my back, Black. I know what I became once. Things are... different here, I think.
Things will be fine tomorrow. But maybe you should tell me what to expect later in London Below. I have a feeling there might be things there I do not have experience with.
Door, I must run one last errand in preparation and I'll return later this evening. I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer, but this really can't wait.
And now we get into the confusing temporal stuff...
Obviously, there was a Lord Voldemort, because that's all happened. So. Does this Tom *have* to go become Lord Voldemort, because it's all already happened? Or is this Tom an alternate version of himself, and somewhere in 1954 there's another Tom on his way to becoming Lord Voldemort?
