Connor's in the bar. Having coffee and food-stuff.
He's sitting at the bar, periodically looking around to see who's there.
and his mun is sooooo bored and probably gonna get in all kinds of trouble for being on the 'net while at work, but blah

"Oh, I don't think I'd make a very good Queen." And he shoves any and all images of him dressed as one completely out of his head.
"Dying's never fun. You should try that survey. Results might be interesting."
no subject
"Have you ever been a King?"
"I'll let you know what they indicate if you like." She hopes the Doctor and the Master's regenerations don't mess up the results.

He sips his coffee. "King? Nah. Never been much for royalty really. I was a ship captain once in Her Majesty's Royal Navy, though."
And a nod. "That'd be interesting. To clear up any confusion, I'm immortal. I'm about 481 years old."
no subject
"Now I do envy you. I bet that was great fun." Not to mention all the men in uniform. Heh. She imagines he appreciated that considerably less than she would have.
"I see. I imagined that was the case." Not that she would have minded another Time Lord. She decides to be honest about her age. "I'm only a little over 200."
no subject
"I like the sea. Quite a bit. And don't give up. You might get your chance still." He smiles.
"200, huh? Not bad." Hey, it's better than the cliche 'you don't look a day over...' line; and he's not cliche.

"True enough. Maybe I'll try to visit one next time I go travelling. Hm. What was the name of your ship?"
"I wouldn't mind being a little bit older."
no subject
"The ship was the HMS Rosemary."
why, yes, mun did just recall that from memory, why do you ask?"Older isn't necessarily better. But, it doesn't suck either." He grins again and tosses back the rest of his coffee. "Name's Connor, by the way." And extends a hand to her.

"Aw."
Mun won't convince Romana to say "Were you going to Scarborough Faire?"She eagerly shakes his hand. "Very nice to meet you, Connor. I'm Romana."

"Hm. I suppose I read and try to make friends. I'm not sure I do anything of great interest when I'm not exploring."
no subject
"So, what do you do when you're skipping around in time, then?"
no subject
"Hm. Correcting small glitches here and there. Helping people. Learning everything I can learn since I'll never be able to learn everything. I like the infinite possibilities time travel provides."
"It's nothing too extraordinary but it's worth it just the same to help people find their way."

He gets an idea. "You should knit one of those hats for a different friend of mine. She'll kill me, but it'll be fun." And a sly grin passes over his face.

Romana raises an eyebrow and looks amused. "Oh? What sort of hat?"

Twisted ideas in the back of his immortal brain.

Ah, bored immortals. It's never pretty.
no subject
Yes - never let immortals get too terribly bored. Even the good ones have evil thoughts.

Also true of Time Lords.

He takes a peek at the time. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go relocate my... girlfriend." And he's never called Faith that before. "It has been an absolute pleasure talking to you. You can leave notes with the bar, if you need to get in touch with me. I don't seem to leave all that much anymore." He grins and dashes off to find Faith.
[ooc: and mun runs away to sleep. oooh - fun! plus - HATS! *g*]
