[ooc: post David/Charlie. slowtimed. v.v. slowtimed.]
Charlie enters the wear, wearing a green t-shirt that reads "Tis Himself" in gold Celtic-like letters.
His hair is also green.
Please don't ask him to sing "Dannyboy". He might hurt you.

"That's good then. Now..."
He stares at the piano.
"You know how to work this thing?"
Grin.

"Anything you'd like to play. I like music...but I'm absolutely useless at it. Not an in-tune bone in my body. If you knocked the lot of them with a hammer you'd get a fiery cacophony of noise. Nope...no skill in that whatsoever."
He smiles, though, wings closing a bit more around him to almost make a comfortable chair-type thing.
"Something soft might be nice though."

Words are flowing out like
endless rain into a paper cup
They slither while they pass
They slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow waves of joy
are drifting thorough my open mind
Possessing and caressing me
Jai guru o deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Images of broken light which
dance before me like a million eyes
They call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a
restless wind inside a letter box
they stumble blindly as
they make their way across the universe
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Sounds of laughter shades of life
are ringing through my open ears
inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which
shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on across the universe
Jai guru o deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Jai guru deva

"That was lovely, Charlie."
And he smiles and looks at him.
"I suppose I see what David sees..."

He's grinning though. Warm.

"I don't try for cute, but I suppose I'll have to accept it eventually. Usually, I go for beautiful or attractive...but I can swing with 'cute'. I guess it's a side effect of being eight years old so often."
Another impish grin and then a tilt of the head.

He blinks.
"Well..."
But he's grinning.
"Aren't you sweet?"

"Hm, much better than what I'm usually accused of. Myths? Are bloody annoying sometimes."

"Bad press, the lot of it. And depressing as anything. We all know how we're going to die. Lovely bit of work there. Yes, so...I'm a Trickster and if you know any myths...or even just a normal, mortal practical joker in person? You'll see how well I'm liked."

"My, aren't you bright? Very good. 'Not very'. Meanwhile, they completely ignore the fact that I'm necessary. Half the bloody myths happened because I was there to make them happen, and while they call me Oathbreaker, I've never broken one. Liesmith, and yet I almost never lie. Foe of the Gods when I've pulled all of their collective asses out of the fryer more often than most of them can count up to."
He looks up to Charlie.
"Feel free to...bap me on the head or something if I get irritating."
no subject
And then beeps his nose.
"Mrrep."

"Is that 'you're annoying me' or 'you're rather cute, I don't mind'?"

"I don't dispense drinks, you know."

"Cute, is he?"
He's a father. Sometimes it shows. Right now? It's showing.

"I had one like that. My daughter."
And his eyes darken a little, but...there are happy memories.
"And a little cub and a very small snake."
And it must sound very odd, but you couldn't tell it from his tone. It's all paternal pride and lots of love.
