Claire is by the fire. She is reading to Seth from Winnie-the-Pooh. Seth is pretending to focus on the moving pictures. Really though he's just trying to break his own record of five consecutive spit bubbles.

Claire nods, excitedly if not somewhat guiltily. "Awesome."

She juggles the baby in her arms as she opens the package. She stares at the picture a moment before collapsing in giggles. "Poor Sawyer" maybe be detectable but then, maybe not.

*Snow laughs a bit too, but not as much as she might have*

I don't regret my participation in the plot one bit, but I have to say Meg's tutuing is getting out of control.

Claire raises an eyebrow. "I don't know Meg. Does she have a . . .tutu problem?"

She's still giggling by the way, just even more so now.

Yes. You'll never believe who she wants to tutu next.

Claire's eyes widen. "Who?"

Bigby.

That stops the giggling all right. "Oh."

Well, maybe not. "Er, that's not good."

Seth squeaks in merriment.

No, it's not. I really don't want to see the fight over that. . .

Ok, now all the giggles are gone, I swear.

She grimaces. "What is her particular fascination with Tutus, do you know?"

She's a ballerina, I can understand that. What I can't understand why she feels the need to put everyone else in a tutu.

"Maybe she's overcompensating for something?" A giggle. Soemone must have put something in her tea.

*a shrug*

Who knows?

She shakes her head. "Where are the kids tonight?"

*a smile*

Bigby's with them. They get along really well.

She grins sadly. "Ah, that's nice. Charlie gets along very well with Seth, too. Except lately he hasn't been feeling very well and Seth's been reacting to it strongly."

*Snow is concerned*
That's too bad. I hope things improve for him.

Claire nods. "Me too. It's hard with Seth being an empath. He's so sensitive to every emotion anyway, and then when people are upset. . ."

*Snow sighs*

It just makes things worse. I've noticed that to a lesser extent with the twins; they can pick up what mood I'm in and react accordingly. I'm not sure if it's a normal mommy thing or they inherited it from their dad.

She nods again. "Exactly. Charlie can't even hold Seth right now."

She sighs. "And neither can I when I'm upset. It kills me to have to listen to him cry and not be able to help him."

*Snow sighs*

The only thing you can really do in that sort of situation is pass him on to someone and try to calm down.

She smiles sadly. "Yeah. I know it'd be better for him to stay with someone for awhile till things settle down but after last week I'm not letting him out of my sight for awhile."

. . . last week?

*her mun kept her home that day*

"Oh." Claire frowns. "I'm so used to everyone already knowing everything by the time I talk to them. The man who killed Charlie on the island tried to kidnap Seth last weekend."

She says it all in a rush because everyone knows the quicker you talk the less you have to think about the words.

Oh.

Did the spell work?

She nods. "It did, I think. He couldn't leave the bar with Seth. And there were too many people around him trying to get him back, so he eventually handed him back to Charlie and tried to escape."

"And then things got pretty bad." She looks away for a moment, and tehn offers a small smile to Snow. "But I think it's been taken care of now."
