*Crowley enters the bar, looking significantly better rested than the last time he was here. He's not limping any more, and despite the slight stiffness of his movements, there is a grin on his face. He orders an apple martini and settles himself at his usual table, idly flexing his still-dusty wings and then wincing at the protest of sore muscles*

*lifts an eyebrow and smiles* All right with me.

Tonks, do you know whether the Romanian Dragon Reserve still gives guided tours? They used to in my time, and Door wants to see dragons on our holiday.

You know, I've not been there yet, so I'm not sure. But if Charlie comes in tonight, feel free to ask him.

How's Door feeling? I didn't get to talk to her last night.

She's much better, I think. She seems very much like her old self, although she's still quite tired.

You have no idea how happy I am to have her back.

*laughs*

She's never been on holiday before - she's packing everything she can get her hands on. Thank Merlin for shrinking spells.

A holiday sounds like fun. I haven't been on one in ages, myself. Not likely to get one anytime soon, either, what with the present goings-on.

Erm, Door says I should apologize for the whole threatening you not to talk to her again business. I can't imagine why you would have listened to my threats.

So, I guess, um, sorry 'bout that.

It's okay. I mean, it's not as if you didn't have a valid point. Although I wouldn't call me staying away from her 'being intimidated by your threats' so much as 'acceding to a request from a friend'.

Well, that's what amazed me actually. I know I can do nothing against you without losing myself. And even then, I doubt all the Dark magic I could access would probably only result in a minor dent in your corporeal form.

Well, that's kind of a debatable point. If I'm caught by surprise, this body's fairly susceptible to harm. Once I've got my shields up, so to speak, I'm pretty hard to hurt, at least by mortal means.

*looks thoughtful*

I don't remember ever being attacked with magic, so I'm not actually sure how that would work out. If it was Dark magic, I might even be able to absorb it and use it as a power boost or something. Hm.

Well, let's hope I never have to test the theory, eh?

Well, resident brawler I may be, but I'm finding it hard to believe that my absence was wholly uneventful. Must've been some significant happenings. Developments on the Charlie Weasley front, for example.

*looks thoughtful* Not really, no, just the usual. Charlie's meant to be looking for a job just at the moment, but I've not seen him today. Not sure how that's going.

Oh, have we managed to use our feminine wiles to persuade him to stay on the same land-mass then?

Well...sort of, I guess. Yeah. *sheepish grin* He said he didn't really want to go back, that he'd rather be here with me, so I asked him to stay. And he said yes.

*frowns slightly* I'm a little worried, though, that he'll start to miss the dragons soon and throw me over. *shrugs* We'll see.

Well, for what it's worth, I think you'd make a very good substitute for a deadly, fire-breathing monster.
