Sara has put her things away the room and placed a few personal effects around.

"Strange...this place seems more like home than my apartment ever did."

With a slight shrug, she gets dressed for the day. Jeans and a black Talk Nerdy To Me shirt. She wanders downstairs into the bar for breakfast.

"Who is he?"

"My mentor and my former supervisor. Intelligent, obsessed with bugs, and really hates being put in situations that are beyond his scope of experience." The thought makes her giggle.

"Former supervisor?" Kim picks up on these things.

"Yeah...I got fired yesterday." Sara shrugs. "It happens. I'll still maintain a friendship with him and some of my colleagues but..." she shrugs again.

"That's terrible, did they give you a reason?"

"Budget constraints. Which is Ecklie-speak for 'I hate you and want you gone, therefore you're fired.' Ecklie's the lab assistant director and a real asshole."

Kim makes a face. "That's a terrible excuse. Do you have any idea what you want to do next?"

"Mmm...I've decided to take a break. I have enough saved up where I wouldn't have to work for a few years. And I'm feeling run down, so I think I'll just hang out here for a while."

"This is a good place to waste a lot of time. Ask the bar for a book if you haven't already." Kim smiles a little. "I'm not working right now, either."

"The bar provides books?" Sara laughs a bit at that. "Shouldn't surprise me."

"The bar provides...pretty much everything and anything. It's amazing that way."

"Yeah..they should think about adding on a shopping center here for the denizens who can't leave. They'd probably appreciate that," she muses, thinking about Barry.

"A shopping center would be an excellent idea. Especially when you need to give someone a gift. Then again, I'm not sure where they'd put it."

She smiles wryly. "They managed to anchor a lake outside, after all."

"Anchor?" Kim isn't sure what she means.

"Well, place a lake outside. In an area that's permanently outside of time and space."

"Yeah that kind of confuses me too. How there can be...atmosphere and growing things in a place that exists at the end of the universe."

She shrugs. "And how can a Bar be sentient? The world will never know."

"This place is just a giant mystery. And the bar has a wicked sense of humor so I wouldn't be surprised if Grissom you said? shows up."

"Which would be just what I need. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy to death. But...I don't need dealing with him right now."

Is it Sara, or is the theme from Jaws being piped in from the back?

"The bar brought in my dad, my ex-boss, some old co-workers and my boyfriend...the less you wanna see someone the more likely it is they'll show up."

"Wonderful. I hope the bar can supply me with tequila."

"Oh, it can supply you with anything you want to drink."

"I'm gonna need it." She grins again.

"I made the mistake of drinking *way* too much a few days ago and...not for a long time."
