Kim comes downstairs, she's still carrying Angels and Demons, but still isn't really in the mood to read it.
She sits at the Bar and orders a chicken salad sandwich.

"I'm pretty good. I don't think I had the chance to tell you but I'm just so happy that you got to see your dad again."

Chris wanted to ask how her father was doing but wasn't sure if that would be too forward.

"So how long have you been here?"

But that doesn't seem to fit. Jack didn't seem angry or annoyed at meeting her. He seemed almost frightened - for lack of a better word.
"I worked at Division. I started there in January."

Chris shrugs her shoulders.

Chris nods and asks, "I don't think I asked this the first time we met or if I did I forgot, what year are you here from?"

"And your father? What year is he here from?" she asks, testing out one of her theories.
