Lucy comes downstairs, and (after getting tea) begins to work on a list.

It is a very important list.

She does not seem to be having much luck with it.

Lucy may be in love. "Oh, you are precious." Leaning down to pet him some more.

*The cat purrs in appreciative bliss, loud and low.*

*Then, idly, it pounces her foot and mrrwrr's. No claws were used in the making of this pounce, only soft, velvety foodpads.*

She grins and wiggles her foot a bit.

*Cats whiskers tickle at her ankle and foot.*

"Do you have a name?" Well, she supposes he probably does, but she's not really certain how she expects him to tell it to her.

*The cat perks its ears at her voice and tilts its head, curiously.*

"I can't very well just call you Cat." She thinks. "Well, I suppose I can. But you're a rather brilliant cat, I think, and need a name better than that"

*The cat wraps around her ankle again, purring up at her as if awaiting a decision.*

"Do you like the name Tumnus? He was a very dear friend of mine, once, you see."

[mogget_cat]

*Tumnus The cat isn't exactly saying yes or no at the name. It blinks its very green eyes at her and miaows.*

She smiles. "Well, I'll call you that til we think of something better. How's that?"

[mogget_cat]

*The cat mrrwrrs a possible affirmative, twitching its soft ears.*

"Alright, then. It's a plan." Scratches at its neck.

[mogget_cat]

*The cat reaches up and bats both soft forepaws at her hand, trying to 'capture' it between them.*

[called_lioness]

She grins and lets it.

[mogget_cat]

*The captured hand gets a soft nudge and a light lick from a rough, pink tongue, and then the white cat "Tumnus" is gone, slinking after a retreating waiter-rat.*

Lucy grins. And rather hopes she sees it again.
