Lucy comes downstairs, and (after getting tea) begins to work on a list.

It is a very important list.

She does not seem to be having much luck with it.

Megan appears nearby and watches her scribble intently, watched by Liam who isn't far away.

Lucy smiles when she notices Megan. "Hello, there."

She smiles back. "Hi!"

"Does your mother or father know that you're here?" Curious more than anything.

It's not like Lucy can really protest children going off on adventures.

Megan nods, turning to point.

"Daddy here."

"Well, that's good." She feels a bit better at that. "Would you like a seat?"

She nods happily and clambers into the booth.

"I Megan."

Smeagol has soup, which he is just taking to his table. He stops to peer curiosly at Lucy's list. Words are interesting.

Lucy glances up at him and smiles. "Hello."

Smeagol smiles back. "What are you writing?'

"I'm trying to decide what to get my brother for his birthday."

Don't get him jewelry, Smeagol thinks.

"Really. That's nice." He looks over the list. "What are you thinking of?"

"Books, mostly. But it doesn't seem like a very good gift. He made a ring for me for my last birthday, you see, and it means a great deal to me. I'd like to get him something just as nice."

Lucy's mun might be evil.

*A small white cat curls about her ankle, purring.*

[called_lioness]

Lucy bends down and carefully stokes the cat. "What are you doing here, hmm?"

[mogget_cat]

*Getting petted, of course.*

*The cat arches it's soft white back under her hand, purring louder now. Bright green eyes look up at Lucy as the cat turns and nudges Lucy's hand with its head, wanting more scritches.*

"You're a lovely one, aren't you?" She picks the cat up, settling it in her lap, and continues stroking.

[mogget_cat]

*The white cat tries to refrain from doing the undignified legs-straight-out-at-funny-angles thing cats do when picked up. It fails.*

*Once in Lucy's lap, the cat quickly lies down, a soft and warm fur-covered lapwarmer that makes a pleasing noise when stroked. The cat nudges Lucy's hand with its head again and twitches its ears. They look as if they could use a scritching.*

She smiles and sets about doing much scritching.

Lucy does love cats.

Guppy wanders over, having seen Lucy around a few times but not talked to her yet.

"Hello."

[called_lioness]

Lucy looks up at him and smiles. "Hello."

"Is this seat taken?"

[called_lioness]

"Not at all." She gestures to it.

"Thanks."

He sits down.

"I'm Guppy, nice to meet you."

He holds out his hand for her to shake.

She takes the hand, shaking it. "Lucy Pevensie. It's nice to meet you as well."
