The Forsaken Throwdown
Rhalen walks to a large open area by the lake.
Asmodean is there waiting for him wearing a suit of black armor.
Neither of them look happy.

The Combat Thread
The black fire from his fingertips ceased.
Rhalen walked closer to Asmodean's shuddering form, then he stretched his hand out and fired a blast of black energy at Asmodean point blank.
Asmodean's body shuddered, and lay limp.
Smiling evilly, Rhalen fired another blast.
Then another, and another.
Overtaken by a sadistic fury, Rhalen continued to pummel Asmodean's unconscious form.
The Combat Thread
The Combat Thread
He paused, and considered for a moment.
Suddenly, Rhalen realized how much of the True Power he had been using. Snarling, he spit at Asmodean's prone form.
Black fire blazes around Rhalen, and he sinks into the flames. His presence leaving the bar.
Re: The Combat Thread
Max is the stronger healer of the two by far, always has been. But Max isn't in the bar. And there's no time to go and find anyone else.
So Michael closes his eyes, lays a hand flat on Asmodean's chest, and pours all the strength he can muster into healing him.
The Combat Thread
Re: The Combat Thread
It's only a minute or so longer before, without opening his eyes again, he keels over sideways onto the grass, utterly exhausted.

Re: The Combat Thread
The fight itself was unlike anything he'd ever witnessed before. More amazing than any movie special effects. Only, it wasn't a movie or special effects. it was real.
"Jasin?" He questions, hoping for a reaction. He assumed the other man had been a healer, but maybe there was still something he could do to help his friend.
The Combat Thread
He bears no resemblance to conscious.
Re: The Combat Thread
The pulse is weak, but steady. He's breathing, evidenced by a slight rise and fall of his chest.
He puts his hands on the man. eyes closed, trying to visualise internally. Doesn't look good.
His legs are a concern, too. The way they're bent...House doesn't need an X-ray to tell they're broken. And badly. He needs something to splint them, to straighten and keep them still, and looks around for sometihng he might use.
Tree branches? Maybe his best bet. The problem would be getting up to get them. And what to use to hold them in place?
Re: The Combat Thread
"Do you need any help?"
Re: The Combat Thread
It doesn't register that he doesn't know this guy. Doesn't matter. Right now, his priority is the man in front of him.
Re: The Combat Thread
"It's your call."

Re: The Combat Thread
He wishes he listened to Elaine and carried a knife with him. He's not worried about the animals but that knife would come in handy right now, he thinks.
Ryan hurries back towards Asmodean and the other man, branches in tow. He hopes he remembers enough of his first aid training to be useful.
"Here," he says and kneels to set the branches on the ground.
Re: The Combat Thread
"Think you can carry him inside?" House uses his cane to pull himself up. It's not pain, exactly, but a strong ache settled in his leg. "And thank you for your help. I don't know what I would have done..."
Re: The Combat Thread
"And no problem, I think you and the kid did most of the work."
It's a little clumsy, and his back will be sore later, but Ryan hoists Asmodean over his shoulders in a fireman carry. He gets to his feet carefully and heads into the bar.
