Ingress's Sixth Birthday Party
*It's eleven o'clock on Saturday morning, thanks to Millitime, and the stage is set for Ingress's birthday out by the lake. The House of Arch family has gathered around a perfect picnic spot under a tree. Right beside them is a playground Tom has conjured just for the occaision. There is a swingset, a slide, a merry go round, and a sandbox charmed with sand that's perfect for building.
Ingress is wearing a gown fit for a princess. It has been charmed against stains and ripping just for this special day. She is also wearing a blinking button which reads "I am 6!" She is very, very, very excited.
Tom, Door, Gavroche, and Megwyn are putting finishing decorating touches on the picnic tables set up with a gigantic cake, gallons of ice cream from Florean Fontescue's ice cream parlor, and punch. There is also a table with baskets of wizarding crackers. These are gifts for the guests - once the crackers are popped, the recipient will get a hat of some kind (maybe there will be a plethora of pirate hats!) and a wizarding toy or game like chess or gobstones. Or whatever else you'd like - the guest gets to decide!
There are several chairs under the tree as well, providing a good view of the playground.
Come, birthday with them!*
OOC: Summary forthcoming. However, very important (and menacing) Barty and Tom thread within.

"How do'ee fare?"

He conveniently "forgets" the fact that it was a bribe or blackmail, depending on who you ask.

"Say true? That's fine of her."

As she smiles at him, Susan's remembering a few children in Hambry that she taught to ride.

"Yes! She's nice. And I do!"

"Then thee'll do well with a pony of yer own, I wot."

"Do'ee say so, Gavroche? Only the once?"

Alain's standing by them, eyebrows raised and quiet, listening to this.
"And from the -- ye're trig, young sai."
no subject
"Well, they just left it standing there and no one to watch it."
The implication is, what *else* were we supposed to do?
no subject
Dryly, "Foolish of them."
It's rather more amused than disapproving.

She shakes her head, laughing.
"Well, with yer own pony, ye'll not need to pull such capers in order to ride, soh; and if ye need teaching, ye'll have that too."
She will, at any rate, and she suspects that Alain would be willing as well.

"Thanks!"

"Say true -- Ingress is coming on nicely with her Companion, I wot, and I've done some work with her on proper grooming as well."
She turns back to Gavroche and adds, "But it's fun to ride with a friend, do'ee ken? For both of ye, then. Do'ee know when yer pony will be here?"

"Aye, that's so; and we'll be glad to see more of ye in the stables, then, if ye like."
