tim drake inna dress.
There was a new girl in the bar. She looked mildly surprised to find herself there, but more or less stared at the location that she had turned out in. From her style of dress that consisted of a nice red dress that came down past her knees, revealing smooth legs and high-heeled shoes, not to mention how tidy her straight chestnut hair was as it brushed against her mid-back was, it could be guessed that she had come from some sort of party or function.
Bright green eyes lined neatly with eyeliner and touched up with eyeshadow eyed the surroundings warily, her cherry red lips tightening in a line. She was actually quite the looker when it came down to it, but she looked mildly irritated at the moment.
You couldn't blame her, though. That was because of one primary reason -- she was actually a boy.
Tim Drake, to be exact, or better known as Robin, formidable sidekick to the Dark Knight.
So why was he in such a get up? He had been asked by Bruce to be his date for a function because he would rather not make the effort of finding a complete stranger to go with. And it seemed that Cassandra had been busy for the night.
A sigh escaped those painted lips. He was never doing this ever again.

"Hi there."

Of course, he could always run for it. But that would probably seem more than a little weird.
"Hello," he said instead, using his trained feminine voice. It sounded real, too.
no subject
"Welcoem to Milliways. Are you new here? My name is Bart, whats yours?"
no subject
"I'm Emily." Of course, he already had the named covered. They had the whole persona, actually. "I've come here a few times before, but not much. I've mostly kept to myself."
no subject
"Where and when are you from?"

Kon isn't usually one to greet newcomers. If he recognizes them, sure. But otherwise? He hasn't really chosen to be social in Milliways lately.
So he might be feeling a little different tonight. Wanting to find new people to talk to. Or, he might be drawn to this new person for some reason. Really, he has no idea.
Either way, out of complete boredom with his notebook, he abandons it and decides to be a little social.
Clueless. -Oh so clueless-.
"Is this your first time here, or do you always look so baffled?" He greets as he walks up.
no subject
But right in front of him, in the flesh, was his boyfriend. And he was never going to live this down if Kon found out that it was Tim. So he was going to do everything in his power to avoid revealing himself. Really.
And why did Kon have to pick tonight out of all nights to be social?
"Oh, no. It isn't my first time here, no. I was just surprised because I haven't been here in a while, and I was expecting the ladies' room, not Milliways," "Emily" told Kon, flashing him a shy smile.
no subject
But he thinks he would have. She's not exactly the kind of girl you pass your eye by without noticing, yaknow?
"Well, uh, if you need to take care of a problem, the bathroom's that way." He points.
no subject
Not like she looked like she needed to touch her make up. But let Kon think it was a female thing.

"Rich and famous?"

*Snow notices the icon*
Cindy? What are you doing here?
no subject
Cindy is not here! It is your imagination! The mun just snagged a random icon of girly legs!no subject
Yes, a random icon from the cover to issue #22 (http://jamesjean.com/coverwork/fables22.jpg) of Fables!no subject
Mun did not know this! She just found it on a icon site!
And Snow is talented to recognize people only from their legs.
no subject
Mun just knows James Jean's work really well.(no subject)

However, even if he has a lack of surprise, that doesn't mean he's not amused. Oh, so very... very... amused.
And he's not missing this chance at all.
So he walks over, whistling a little. He's going to pretend he doesn't know Tim, but he knows Tim will see right through it. Still, it'll be fun.
"So what's a pretty lady like you doing in a bar like this?"
no subject
Not that Tim didn't have dirt on Dick, before. And he knew that Dick had gone through the same thing before. It was a Bat thing, really.
But when the man approached, he wanted to wipe that look off of his face. He was going to have to have a chat with Oracle for some blackmail material.
"Down, boy. Hands to yourself," he said in his feminine voice.
no subject
Some things just need to be done.
"But you're just so -attractive-," He says. "How can I stay away?"
no subject
"Oh, I don't know. Maybe it's because I could whisper something to a certain redhead." And he wasn't talking about Babs.

But of course, he couldn't let that show in his portrayal of Emily. That would be too suspicious.
So Emily merely smiled politely, yet blandly in the fashion of a girl who wasn't too interested in talking to girls.
"I'm not new, but I've mostly kept to myself, so I doubt we've met," she said off-handedly.
no subject
... If she really wanted to. Which she doesn't. And if she let everyone who was aloof stay that way she'd never have met ... well, Tim, for one.
"You look like you could use a friend," she says, "if you don't mind me saying. I mean, this place isn't that much fun if you're on your own. I'm Steph. What's your name?"
no subject
"Emily," she told Steph a bit curtly. "And don't worry, I don't need a friend. I was just about to go back to the party."
no subject
Cheerful bubbliness, she's found, often overrides any curtness. Even if she does maybe sound a bit hurt and rejected at Emily's tone.
