tim drake inna dress.
There was a new girl in the bar. She looked mildly surprised to find herself there, but more or less stared at the location that she had turned out in. From her style of dress that consisted of a nice red dress that came down past her knees, revealing smooth legs and high-heeled shoes, not to mention how tidy her straight chestnut hair was as it brushed against her mid-back was, it could be guessed that she had come from some sort of party or function.
Bright green eyes lined neatly with eyeliner and touched up with eyeshadow eyed the surroundings warily, her cherry red lips tightening in a line. She was actually quite the looker when it came down to it, but she looked mildly irritated at the moment.
You couldn't blame her, though. That was because of one primary reason -- she was actually a boy.
Tim Drake, to be exact, or better known as Robin, formidable sidekick to the Dark Knight.
So why was he in such a get up? He had been asked by Bruce to be his date for a function because he would rather not make the effort of finding a complete stranger to go with. And it seemed that Cassandra had been busy for the night.
A sigh escaped those painted lips. He was never doing this ever again.

Stranger things have happened.

And oh, what the hell.
"Gotham City."

Of course, he's probably biased, knowing the SECRET HE SHOULDN'T KNOW and all. Not that he'll say anything about it.
no subject
Tim, however, knew the implication. And if Kon let anything leak about it? He was going to get a whoopin' of his lifetime.
no subject
And he's not an idiot. He's not breathing a word of the Secret of DOOM.
no subject
And it was good that Kon was not leaking the information. Tim would be sad to have to kill his boyfriend.

"I'm old enough to handle myself, if that's what you mean. Legal, too."

"You just don't look quite eighteen." Which, uh, maybe that wasn't the best thing to say. Oops?
no subject
"Because he's Bruce Wayne, that's why," she told him, as if that explained everything. "And excuse me if I don't look eighteen to you. It's not like I need your approval, you know," Emily huffed.
no subject
"I never said you did."

"Who did you say you were again?"
no subject
Yeah, Tim was sincerely hoping that Kon didn't connect the dots.

And it's not clicking, it's really not, but then he's thought too much and REALIZED and it is clicking, and Kon has to stare for a long moment in disbelief. And maybe he -hadn't realized it- because he -wouldn't have thought-, and he feels like an innocent victim in a commercial for 'this is your brain on drugs'.
"-Dude-!" Kon stares. "What the fuck?"
no subject
Right. Denial was good.
"That's not language you use in front of a lady, you know," Emily said, her cherry red lips frowning.

Because there was no way this brunette with the bright green eyes and the lovely red dress was Tim Drake. Not to mention the legs. Nice legs.
no subject
Of course, he knows exactly why he didn't see it before. Because Tim's a Bat, which means he has no -end- to the variety of talents. Kon just never thought it'd include... this.
Oh jeeze.
"So what, did he not want to bother interviewing dates or something? Or is this just some sort of test?"

Sighing, Tim leaned on the bar, one elbow perched gracefully on the surface. Even if his cover was blown when it came to Kon, that didn't mean he was going to tell the rest of the world.
"A little bit of both, I suppose," he said, still using his feminine voice.
no subject
Not that that'd do any good against Superman, but hey. It'd be satisfying for a moment!
"But you're good it at, at least," Kon says, looking 'Emily' over with a slight grin.
no subject
"And I have heels on, you know," he said with a little glare, swining one foot to emphasize the point.
