Sarah smiled again, "Orange juice is fantastic." She didn't get enough of it at home really, due to the kitchen usually being stocked by two boys and one teenage girl.
A grin around a mouthful of waffle, though at least she chewed and swallowed before answering, "Doing quite well, somehow I managed to sleep in a booth again without realizing I'd fallen asleep, but hey, breakfast solves everything."
She could totally get used to this, breakfast and fulfilling her 'meet one new person every day' quota, "Nice to meet you." A pause then to snarf down another bite of waffle, "How long've you been here?"
Sarah grinned once again at that, nodding, "Isn't it?" She'd only been here a few months herself, off and on, but she was quite sure she'd never get tired of it.
She nodded, already halfway through the waffles, they were good. "Been here off and on for... uh... three months now I think, maybe a little more. Seems like more though."
She smiled lopsidedly at that, nodding slowly as she took a long swallow of her orange juice, "Yeah. It does." A shrug, "Easy to make friends here really, get attached to people."
"Yeah, everyone's so nice, I've found," she agrees, although she wouldn't really say she was attached to anyone in particular. "Have you met anyone special here?"
Her brow furrowed, realizing how that must have sounded, she shook her head, "no. Well..." Her brow furrowed further, it was difficult to explain really, as 'special' meant something different to everyone, "Well, not special enough to get that attached to. But special enough to worry about if I don't see them for a while."
Sarah laughed as well, shaking her head, "I get that a lot though anyway. At least, back home." A pause, "Well, and around here really." A shrug, "At least with the puzzled face I know enough to ask 'did that make any sense at all?'"
She smiled brightly at that, waffles almost finished, "I'm a superhero. Sort of."
She swiped her fingers against the outside of the orange juice glass, collecting the condensation and forming it into a miniature stormcloud that drifted off across the bar, sparking static.

She nodded then, "Good, because sometimes I'm spouting gibberish and I don't even realize it."

"I'm from all over, Sugar," she finally settles on. "Originally built in the North Yard, Memphis."
