He's left Triumph sleeping upstairs, and is downstairs.
At the piano.
With a half eaten sandwich on top.
Bar has taken to refusing his Vicodin until he eats, instead of giving it to him *with* dinner.
He's not happy about that.
He has to finish the sandwich befor ehe can get the pill. He's really not happy about that.
Have at.

After a moment, he abandons the water, and walks over to him.
"Hi," he says quietly.

"Hey." He scoots over, making room on the bench for Behrooz to sit down.

"I'm not ... Bound anymore," he says when he looks up.

Behrooz is one of the few people,t hat even as he gets to know him more, House has a hard time reading.

"I'm not sure... when I'd come back here," he says carefully.

"Well, I'll miss you." He says quietly.

He copies the melody.
"I'll miss you, too," he murmurs.

He couldn't deny that he felt a heavy sadness in his heart.
He was happy for Behrooz, if going out of the bar was what Behrooz wanted. But he would miss the boy, would miss their quiet talks, their lessons at the piano.
Most of all, he'd hate not being able to see Behrooz and check in with him. There wasn't often much he could do for Behrooz, except try to be a positive adult figure in his life.

He plays the melody again.
After a moment, he starts playing 'Heart and Soul.' He doesn't need the music anymore.

When the song ends, he pauses, and plays the last note again.
Finally, he looks up again, then back at the piano. "I'm not sure if... I'll be able to practice out there." He's not sure if there'd be a piano wherever he ends up.

"Whenever you come back, if you do, this one will be waiting for you."

"She'll probably bring me back. I haven't paid the tab."
