Happy Hour
Bernard escapes the sickroom by the skin of his teeth.
His hair's a little sticky-uppy.
He strides behind Bar and takes a deep breath.
"Welcome to Milliways Happy Hour.
"Specials are a dirty vodka martini, a tequila sunset, and--" he shrugs, "--a cosmopolitan."
He rubs his eyes tiredly.
"What'll you have?"

"Elaine, hey." He sighs. "Tired. You?"

She pats Bar, as if to say there are no hard feelings about that.
no subject
No, Bar hasn't told him.

So needless to say, when he sees the shock of red hair bobbing around behind the bar, he heads over. Besides, he needs a drink.
"Can if get a rum and coke, please?"

...I have too much time on my hands.
Bernard walks over, a little rumpled, a lot tired, and a really really lot relieved to be out of the house.
"Hey, sure." He starts to mix it up. "Jack, right?"

"Good to meet you, finally. And thanks. We liked it."

"You look like you haven't slept in a week. Has Sunny started dating or something?"
no subject
"Worse. Nymphadora has the flu."

A rather cofused and tired looking Hank McCoy comes over to the Bar and nods to the Barman.

Bernard's rather worse for the wear, himself.
"What can I get you?"
no subject
He sighs as he settles in a seat more securely.

*Raph, having just waded his way through the crowd, nods at Bernard. He's carrying a brown paper bag. Be afraid.*
no subject
A beer is plunked on the bar in front of him.
no subject
*His head tilts to one side.*
You look like hell.
