"Hi hi hi." Sam takes a seat across from her. "How are you?"

Jaina looks up from the card deck and smiles hello at her friend. "Haven't seen you in a while."

"Yeah, I know. I missed you." She grins. "How are you?"

"Great," Jaina replies, eyes twinkling. "You know it snowed last week?"

Sam nods. "Yep. Saw it. Didn't go out in it though. See it enough at home." Sam grins. "But I did go out after it was all gross. But only to see horses."

"We went out in it. It's been years since we've been around snow."

"Awesome." Sam beams. "With Jaaaag?" She says his name sing-songy.

She scratches at her head - a habit she picked up from Zekk - and nods, grinning up at Sam.

"He found us out there. We tried to cover him in snow... Wasn't so succesful."

That's what happens when your boyfriend's from a snowy planet to begin with.

Samantha laughs and flags down a waitrat. "A bowl of mash potatoes, please."

Yes. She's weird.

"Sounds adorable. Like a movie." Sam grins.

Sabacc, this catches Amanda's attention.

"Hello" comes a new voice and face. Amanda is sure that she has seen this woman around the bar but hasn't said hi before. "I'm Amanda." offering her hand.

Jaina raises her eyebrows for a moment, looking at the newcomer curiously. A small, polite smile greets her face, and she shakes Amanda's hand. "Jaina."

"Pleasure to meet you."

"Would you like some company?" Amanda indicates the seat accrossfrom the woman.

She shrugs, still shuffling the sabacc cards in her hands. "Sure."

It's good for Jaina to meet new people. Been a while since she's done so.

"Were you planning on having a game?" pointing to the cards. Amanda has really been wanting to get some practical experience. Reading about something just isn't the same as playing it.

"If someone comes by that knows how to play," she replies, placing the cards down on the table and grinning at Amanda. "Zekk's getting tired of playing sabacc against us."

Taking a look around, "You and who else?" Amanda suspects the royal we but knows better then to make assuptions in this place.

"Well I'm trying to learn. If you would bewilling to bare with me I would love to give it a try." she offers. She might not have played Sabaccc before but sheis very good at poker and has been reading the rules so she shouldn't be half bad, she hopes.

"Huh?" Jaina clicks quietly in the back of her throat and shakes her head. "No one else at the booth."

Try the bughugger we. Always fun for confusion.

She nods. "Has someone been teaching you?"

Tahiri wanders over with a cup of hot chocolate and takes a seat.

"Whatcha doin'?"

Jaina holds up the deck of sabacc cards and smiles at the Jedi. "Want to play a round?"

"Friendly game, no betting?"

She could use the practice.

"No betting?" There's a hint of a pout on Jaina's face. "It's no fun if you don't bet, Tahiri."

"My tab's big enough as it is," she says, shaking her head. "I need something in reserve for the next game."

Betting's for pilots, anyway.

She rolls her eyes as she begins to deal out the cards. "What about using a bowl of those Earth candies?"

Well, Jaina is a pilot, after all.

While Jaina deals, Tahiri goes over to the bar and asks for betting material. She returns a moment later with two medium-sized bowls-- one of M&Ms and one of Reese's Pieces.

"Any preference?"

She puts the deck down in the center of the table and nods towards the bowl with the M&Ms.

"Like the chocolate ones better. Wanna dump the others and use the bowl for the sabacc pot?"
