There's a Darien at the bar, sipping on coffee that's more sugar and milk with some coffee than the other way around. He's also munching on a breakfast sandwich of some sort.

He's edging on needing to go home, but he's got a couple more days till he has to head out and he intends to enjoy them.

Liam walks into the bar, spots Darien, and gets a distinctly evil grin, before hiding it and walking over to sit a stool or two along.

And Darien doesn't notice, because there are plenty of people a stool or so away and the article he's reading in the philosophy digest he's reading is pretty interesting.

Good and evil. Interesting stuff.

Liam remembers what Charlie told him about this Darien being from an earlier time. So he goes easy on him.

"Darien, right?"

He turns and nods.

"Yeah, s'my name."

He puts out a hand.

"Friend of Charlie's or friend of David's?"

Being as those are the two people he's spoken to for the most part and he's forgotten that pesky "I used to be here" bit.

"Brother of Charlie's." He shakes hands. "Liam Pace, good to meet you... again."

Blink.

Brother's are...kind of a weird thing for him right now, but then again it's always weird meeting the family of your SO.

"Oh. Hey. Yeah, Liam."

He nods with a slightly nervous grin.

"Hey, nice to meet you, man. I'm, uh, assuming Charlie mentioned me then?"

"He did, yeah. When I came in for his birthday."

He doesn't say what Charlie said just yet. Tormenting the little brother's SO a little bit is traditional.

He nods a few times.

"That's cool, that's cool. Say anything interesting?"

Amanda is also at the bar. She is ordering a Non-fat grande vanilla and caramel latte. Darien happens to be sitting next to where she came up to so she turns and offers a friendly smile and greeting, "Good Morning."

Noticing the book, "So what are you reading?"

Charlie drapes his arms over Darien's shoulders from behind and kisses the top of his head.

Darien looks up with a smile.

"Hey, sunshine. What's got you up early?"

"Wanted a cuddle."

He cuddles.

He nods over to the couches.

"I can change location if you like."

"Wouldn't mind that," Charlie says with all the casualness he can muster. "'Tis easier horizontal."

"Many things are."

He leans up and kisses Charlie's jaw before picking up his coffee and wandering over. If he's impeeded by the Charlie on him, then he doesn't show it much.

It's a small Charlie--he's probably not much of an impediment, even at his most cuddlesome. "How's the coffee?"

There's a vampire sliding onto the seat beside him, looking flushed.

"Well, long time no see."

He blinks and nods.

"Yeah, haven't seen you around. How you been, man?"

He shrugs, and it's anything but nonchalant.

"A little tied up, if I'm honest, but I survive. And yourself?"

That gets a blink.

"Something wrong, man?"

"God, no!"

He smiles.

"I mean, a little tied up," he coughs, "in the good sense."

"In the fluffy handcuffs sense?"

"Well, they weren't fluffy," he muses. "But the same sense, yes."

He smiles.

"So anyway, how have you been?"
