Exit post

[OOM: Upstairs in Zekk's room, Jaina goes to tell him she's leaving Milliways and the two realize that even with the mindmeld gone, they're still connected.]

There was a door there on the wall some minutes earlier and now, when Jaina rushes back downstairs after talking to Zekk, it's still there. It's there and this means she and Jag can leave and finally go home.

Which explains the big smile on her face and the impatient foot tapping as she waits by the bar for her husband to come downstairs with their belongings.

[OOC: Millitimed to before exit/Jag arriving!]

"You look happy."

It was still vaguely creepy how her voice drifted from whatever corner/booth/chair she was lurking in at the time. Aeryn craned her neck to get a better glimpse of Jaina. Yes, still beaming.

"Every day and don't you forget it." Aeryn shot back, rising from her seat in one fluid motion.

"Tell me that look means you're much too pleased with the new wallpaper."

"Home?" Aeryn echoed blandly.

"Forever?" Well Sawyer and Claire had never come back (that she saw) so...don't blame her for being paranoid.

In the split-microt that Jaina answered, it occured to Aeryn that she was saying forever. That Jaina would walk through that door and never return.

Thankfully the Jedi continued.

"Good. Some people here would miss you, as irritating as you are."

Aeryn grinned. "Could be."

Beat.

"Except I was referring to Zekk. You know how he mopes when you are away."

Aeryn stood stiffly, moving from one foot to the other. Frell, these things weren't half awkward when no-one was going to die.

"It's impossible to get him to admit it, but I can tell."

Dammit Aeryn, say something nice.

"I...have a safe journey..."

"I won't destroy the Bar or go off fighting Scarrans if that's what you're asking."

Aeryns face became serious, not unhappy, just thoughtful.

"I might go back myself. But likely you'll be back by then."

"If you aren't back in a few monens, I will personally hunt you down."

It's supposed to be reassuring.

"I'm sure all it would take to perk you up would be the threat of an old friend visiting."

And a couple of high-grade explosives.

"Just make sure there's something to do."

The thought of utter boredom while tiny Fels ran about underfoot. Yuck.

Well, they'd be able to help their mother reach the high shelves in the kitchen :P

"In the right place, maybe."

With the right person.

"Guarantee it with a lot of whisky-" Aeryn smirked, sliding her fingers through the loops on her trousers.

"-and I'm there."

"And don't invite Wes, he'll drink it all."

She was operating under the illusion that Jaina would invite more than just her.
