Okay, he's back. Jittery, (though he knows better than to show it,) and watching the bar from a place in the corner (where he can have his back to a wall) and fingers curled tight around his glass.
But he is here.
But he is here.

"Although you need not worry about me, I am light. Santino can jump a wall with me clutched tight, and land us safely, but then, he is not... normal."
no subject
He counts himself as normal - for the most part. It's only the diamonds, really, and they don't give him powers or make him invisible.

But then, Merc's been here a while.
no subject
He shakes his head. "It is so in Oz. I have seen no others with such things."
no subject
He looks a touch dubious.
"When Parker's hand is a little better."
no subject
A small nod.
no subject
So long as it's not hugely glaring.
no subject
A nod. "Good. You will show me, of course? Before."
no subject
He promises.
"It will be lovely. Willow leaves, all curled up. Even Frost is happy, and says he will no longer let Styx bite that part of his shoulder, so the ink does not twist."
no subject
"Well, I should hope not. That seems fitting for you."
no subject
It was noble of him.
"It is a permanent sort of thing."
no subject
"Yes, that should be thought about. Are you overnervous?"
no subject
So it'll be alright.

Jack has faith.
no subject
"I should hope so."
no subject
"In case you wondered."
no subject
"Yes, I know. But if he is bringing you to his world, it is his job to find a safe place to get you tattooed."
no subject
Which has become an important point.
"And I will ward off anyone that tries to attack us. Humans are very fragile."
no subject
"Very fragile indeed."
no subject
Quietly, and with some upset.

no subject
He bites his bottom lip.
"He had been in a war."
no subject
He nods a little. "Well, it ... yes, it is easy. But sometimes it is also hard."
no subject
He shrugs, uncertainly.
"I was sorry, that I had to."
