The mun was not going to post Boo in this weekend. She was going to take some time to finish slowtimes and work on small plotty things. However, the mun forgot that she had IDEAS. She also forgot that she, too, is helpless against the cuteness that is Boo. And SO, here we are.

Boo is outside her blanket fort. She appears to be All Better! from last week's being sick thing. She's hopping around and singing. On top of her blanket fort there is a half eaten plate of cake and a pink Hello Kitty! sippy filled with lukewarm hot chocolate.
Boo has definitely been affected by the people she's met here.

It should be noted what Boo is wearing! She has on a white t-shirt with a large, red " Hello, My Name Is " logo on it. And in the name portion of the logo "Boo!" appears to be handwritten on it. (except it's not hand written; it's printed on there like the rest) On the rest of the shirt there are smaller and different colored "Hello, My Name Is" logos, with all of the names she's called on them. "Boo!" is there a few more times, "Grace" and "Gracie" are on there at least two times each, "Half Pint," "Squirt" "Zow" "Mike" and "Mike Wizowski" are also featured prominently. There is also "Little Bit", "Little One" "Cutie" and possibly several others that the mun has forgotten.

She also has on black jean shorts and white bunny house shoes that JINGLES WHEN SHE MOVES HER FEET. This might explain why she's dancing around. SHE LOVES HER NEW SHOES!

It's unclear where Boo got all these items, or how they got onto her person. But she has them on and she LOVES THEM and thus it's all happy making in the end.

Somewhere, dogs are howling and they aren't quite sure why.

"Fish," Kate repeats with a laugh, watching as it zigs a safe distance away (also known as three feet) when Boo begins to splash.

"Do you want to give the fish a name?"

"IIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!"

She is still squeeeeeeeeeeeing at a very high pitch. And pointing frantically. DO YOU SEE DO YOU SEE THE FISH OMG IT MOOOVES DO YOU SEE IT MOVE IT'S IN THE WATER AND MOVING AND DO YOU SEE, LELLOW KAKE, DO YOU SEE, DO YOU SEE?!?!?!?!

It's not even clear if she's heard Kate until she suddenly shouts (in the same loud and high pitched noise) "F'ED! F'ED IIISSSSSSSSSSSS!!!"

The imaginary dogs' ears are bleeding now.

But Kate's still laughing, her hearing still intact. ~~Somehow~~.

"Fred?" she asks, just to be sure. "Fred the Fish?"

The assumed-to-be Fred may be inching just a bit closer.

Boo jumps up and glees and somehow manages to not fall face first in the water and THEN she suddenly sort of..throws herself into the water in the direction of Fred The Fish in what appears to be an attempt to catch him.

"F'ED IIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!"

"Boo, careful — "

Kate's relieved that she isn't hurt, just excited.

" -- did you get him?" she asks, trying to peer around Boo's shoulder.

Alas, Boo shows Kate her empty hands. She is a toddler after all, and all the enthusiasm in the world does not instantly improve fine motor skills.

She has a sadface.

But then quickly looks back at the water, trying to find Fred The Fish! Where did he goooooo?

"It's okay, sweetie — he lives in the water, anyway."

And Boo might inadvertently crush the life from Fred's gills in her gleeing.

Kate scans the water again, to no immediate avail.

"Do you see Fred?"

Boo shakes her head with continued sadface. She loooks and loooks and looooks and OH OH OH OH OH! POINTING! "F'ED ISSS!" POINTING AND LOOKING AND KATE AND MORE POINTING! "ISSSSSSSSSSS! F'ED!"

Kate turns, and finally her eyes fall on Fred once more.

"There he is," she nods, grinning at Boo's excitement. "Good eyes, Gracie-Boo."

Fred glides through the water, zigging and zagging, then cutting between Kate and Boo.

Another high piched noise and then Boo GLOMPS in Fred's direction. With much excited glomping and attempts at capture.

Poor Fred.

Kate watches, bemused; she's certain that Fred's superior speed and pocket-sized, uh, size will keep him safe from the glomping and possible capture.

Fred, meanwhile, darts this way and that, just out of Boo's enthusiastic reach, then swims in a quick circle around Boo's legs, then Kate's legs, before venturing near Boo again.

Boo follows Fred around in a very enthusiastic manner, still squeeing occasionally and doing her very best at attempting to capture him.

Failing miserably. But TRYING. TRYING SO MUCH!

Kate's still supervising, staying just a couple of steps from Boo to ensure Boo doesn't fall and scrape an elbow or a knee in the shallows.

And Fred, it seems, appears to realize he may be flailing for his fishy life.

He's disappeared, at least for the moment.

Boo stops.

And blinks.

And looks around frantically.

Looks up at Kate.

Looks back at the water.

Back at Kate.

"F'ed isss byebye?"

Kate's searching for Fred, too.

"Not bye-bye," she assures Boo with a shake of her head. "He's just somewhere ... else ... right now."

He is, in fact, swimming in an almost lazy circle about four feet to Boo's left.

Boo's face is very sad and it sounds like her heart is breaking. "Byebye?" SAD BOO APPROACHING! WITH POSSIBLE TEARS!

"No, sweetheart, he's just swimming — "

Kate hears the sadness in Boo's voice and spots the Imminent Sad on her features, and redoubles her efforts to spot Fred.

" ... he's right there!" she says with a relieved grin, pointing to Fred's current "hiding" spot.

OOOOOO!

FRANTIC LOOKING!

Gleeful! "HII F'ED ISSS NO BYEBYE!"

She waves at him.

And then continues her efforts to try to catch him.

Kate doesn't hope to swallow the laugh that escapes when Boo waves at Fred.

"See? He's just swimming around, Boo — the lake is his home. Like his bedroom."

It's possible Boo's paying less than zero percent attention to Kate's explanation, as she's a little preoccupied with the Fred pursuit.

The pursuit is most of the fun, you know.

Except when it stops.

Fred successfully thwarts every single move that Boo makes. As such he moves begin to slow down and then she's just watching him swim. With a forlorn expression.

"No F'ed Iss?"

Kate headtilts a little, studying lethargic-ish!Boo and glancing toward Fred.

"Fred's fine, but how're you feeling, half-pint? Tired at all?"

She holds out her arms to see if Boo would like to be picked up.

Boo points to Fred The Fish.

"iiisssss."

She makes grabbing motions.

"F'ed issss."

Kate nods.

"He's a good fish, but he needs to stay in the water so he can breathe."

She frowns.

And then has an idea!

She points to bar.

"Isss!"

Kate follows the pointing to the bar, then looks down at Boo again.

" -- in the tank?"

She glances at Fred, a little dubiously.

They've got no way to safely transport him to said tank at the moment.
