Its been raining for the past week in Nottingham so Will beams with gratitude when he finds a door to the Bar.

After a few moments, he is stretched out on a couch with hot chocolate, soup and his cloak drying by the fire as he feels dry for the first time in days.

(OOC: Mun is here, but might disappear to go play with nieces and family so consider this open until it falls off the page.)

"Termina. I don't suppose you've heard of it?"

"Nay, sir, I 'avena. What's it like?"

"It..."

He stares into the fire for a moment, thinking.

"It's very small, I think. Compared to other places."

"Oh aye, sir, can understand that. Nottingham's rather small compared to many places."

"Have you ever explored outside of Nottingham?"

"Aye, sir, been to Lincoln an since I've come 'ere seen a few different worlds. Most o''em make me feel small."

"Yes, but was it an adventure? That's the important part, exploring and learning new things. Adventure."

He's starting to sound excited. He had worried he wouldn't be able to leave the bar at all if his Door didn't come back.

"Aye, sir, were 'dventures."

He leans forward a bit.

"Meet any interesting people?"

And he loves a good story, too.

"Aye, sir, all sorts 'ere from gods to men I've known from tales to those from a future I couldna e'en 'magine."

"Gods?"

"Aye, sir, met the Green Man 'ere."

Something Green and ancient flashes in Will's eyes.

Viscen catches it and feels reverent. A man who's been in the presence of a god...it is a great honor in Termina.

"I know of no deity with that name. What is he sovereign of?"

"Forests an the Green, sir."

He can't help but think of the warrior god of Woodfall. It's neither here nor there, though.

"A benevolent god?"

"Aye, sir, 'e's 'imself."

"That must have been something, to meet a god. It changes you, eh?"

"Aye, does, sir."

"I met an imposter god once."

He can never resist.

"Oh aye, sir?"

"That's right. A thief found himself a fancy mask and thought he'd pull one over on some unsuspecting Gorons. Fortunately, we caught him--he stole the mask from my city, so he was in my jurisdiction."

And he's proud of that one, too. In case you couldn't tell.

"What's a Goron, sir?"

Will rubs his wrist and tries not to think about how its a bit worrying that this man would be so proud of catching a thief who stole a mask.

"Well, basically they're rocks. Sentient rocks."

There's not much other way to describe a Goron, really.

He notices the rubbing as well. "All right there, son?"

"Oh aye, sir. Sound dangerous."

He forces himself to stop rubbing by picking up his drink. This man seems nice yet he looks like a guard so its complicated.

"If you get on their bad side, I suppose. They're really quite gentle. And brilliant merchants."

He smiles. "They run the best hot springs I've ever been in, too."
