Ramon is in the bar and is not in a good mood at all. No particular reason, he just gets like that sometimes. Company could either make it worse, or better, depending on who you are and what you have to say. Either way, he'd like to talk to someone because being pissed off on your own is never as much fun.

He quirks a smile.
'So you should.'

But instead of asking what he wants, or moving to catch a waitrat, she gets up, and heads off toward the Bar.
A few minutes later, she returns, with a reddish-pink drink in a tall cocktail glass, complete with a lemon wedge and a pink paper umbrella.
(This is only half her fault. The Bar can be blamed for the other half.)

'You're funny,'
is his eventual, and very dry, response.
no subject
"You didn't say what you wanted."
no subject
After a moment, there seems to be no such danger so he risks picking out the umbrella and lemon wedge and tossing them on the floor. Then he picks it up and drinks the whole thing down.
'...not too bad,' is his response.
no subject
"I don't think those would've hurt it."
no subject
They were girly. He's had quite enough of that recently, thank you.
'What have you been up to recently? Still zapping people with your hands?'
no subject
That is, until she raises her right hand, and a few sparks reduce them to a blackened spot on the floor.
Cheerful: "Yep."
no subject
'You really are a crazy bitch, Elle. I like that about you. How about I buy you a drink this time?'
no subject
She shows no reaction to 'crazy bitch,' There's a half shrug, and she answers, "You can choose."
She's not afraid of girly drinks with pink umbrellas.
no subject
'Enjoy.'
Knowing her, she probably will.
no subject
But she does take one very small sip from the pint.
The face she makes probably really isn't proportional to the taste.
no subject
'It'd ne rude not to drink it now I've bought it for you. And I drank mine.'
no subject
She slides the pint to the middle of the table, and rests her head in her left hand. With her right, she points to the pint, and a spark snaps from her finger. A moment later, the pint is bursting with flames.
"... I'm the crazy bitch."
no subject
He can't blame her. He wouldn't drink it either.
'So, what've you been doing with yourself since we lsat talked, Elle?'
no subject
She probably did a lot of things.
"Was it before the zombies?"
no subject
Damn. If there were, he's sorry he missed them.
'Here?'
no subject
"Someone asked me to kill them."
Beat. "In his world."
no subject
He can imagine her loving that.
no subject
But instead of acknowledging that, it's just: "They were easy."
no subject
He thinks.
'Do they even still have blood to slow the flames down?' he muses. 'Or do they just go up like dry cardboard?'
no subject
Some would think unnervingly so, but it wasn't a problem for her. "And it didn't matter what they looked like afterward."
Beat. "And they're really slow."
no subject
no subject
"More fun than the rabbits."
no subject
He eyes her, amused.
'Does your power turn back on you and you'll explode?'
That would be a sight to see, he thinks.
