"Oh, Temple and Arch, I wouldn't want to be God! Chasing after cracked angels, and the entire human race sounds like no fun at all. But I thank you for the complement."
Zeke blinks for a moment at the 'cracked angels' but leaves it alone. There was nothing wrong with YOUR Angel, Zeke, so stop freaking. This isn't home. Not everyone is on your rules. The Angel never gave you any reason not to trust him...other than looking exactly like the Devil.
"You're welcome. And hey, can you blame me for having some minor complaints with the current management?"
no subject
"What have you been up to? Or who? That's probably the better question."
no subject
"A gentleman doesn't kiss and tell, Rich. Bad form and all that."
He munches on some eggs before sucking down the remainder of the still-steaming coffee. He grins at Richard.
"Nice to know I still got something after fifteen years in Hell."

no subject
"Buddy, you...are far too nice."
He snickers a bit and pops another forkful into his mouth.
"Most people hear you've gone to Hell...they figure you got what you deserved."
no subject
"'s'not mine to judge, mate."
no subject
"No, unfortunately not."
He grins at Richard with a sad sort of tiredness.
"Wouldn't be against you doing it. You seem a pretty decent guy."

no subject
"No, I suppose I can't. They make mine look like pure whinging."
no subject
He sips at his coffee...before realizing it's all gone and looking at Richard with puppy eyes.
no subject
"When do you have to go back to work?"
no subject
no subject
"Yeuch! Can't say I blame you there."
no subject
"Sides, I, uh...there are things here that aren't at home, if you get me."
The smile fades a little into confusion.
"Some of em are more confusing than just good, but...yeah."
no subject
"Aye, Milliways is a strange and wondrous place."
no subject
"Ever been kissed by a guy?"
Well, there it is.
no subject
"Yes. I think my fiance would object if I didn't kiss him."
no subject
"Ah. Sorry. Ever been kissed by a girl?"
no subject
"Yes, I only dated girls up until recently. Dating blokes was pretty much Not Done in the circles I lived in previously."
no subject
"Yeah, well, uh...yeah. Guy kissed me. I'm straight. Married too...kinda...ish...widow behind, anyway."
He stops trying to explain.
"Uh...words of wisdom?"
no subject
Richard blinks a few times. He's pretty confused. Not that it takes much.
"If you liked it, keep kissing him, if not find a girl."
no subject
He sips down more of the coffee. A lot.
no subject
"I wouldn't worry about it too much. Is this bloke the person you've been grinning about all morning?"
no subject
"Nooooooo...no no, uh...lemme add 'no' to that cause...no."
no subject
He tops off the coffee again and thumps his shoulder.
