"Is what good?"

Anya takes another drink, watching Warren.

"The not having powers or the being dead?"

"Uh...neither when you say it like that."

Anya smirks. "Yeah, dying wasn't a pleasant experience. I'm sure you know what I mean."

He narrows his eyes at her.

"Yeah-huh. It's not."

He knows what she means, but he's not sure what she's getting at.

She's not getting at anything, actually. Just talking. Wee.

Anya nods, taking another drink of her coffee.

"So...girlfriend? She's not a robot, is she?"

"No."

He snorts.

"...She's an alien princess."

Anya blinks. A lot.

"Right."

"She is," Warren insists. "You can ask her."

"I'll... do that then."

Right.

"Who is she?"

"Isabel. Evans. She's, uh, blonde, and gorgeous, and she has, like alien powers, and sometimes she waitresses here. And I'm not making this up."

Anya glances around. "Is she here right now?"

Warren glances as well.

Anya glances over. "Oh! That's Adam. Don't worry, you have nothing to worry about if she's your girlfriend. He's a drag queen and very gay."

"Well, I'm not...worried, I mean...why should I be...worried?" He stammers. "Because I'm not. She can, uh, talk...to people. It's fine. ...She loves me."

Anya smiles. "Glad to hear that. How long have you two been together?"

"Um...a little over a month," he mumbles. He expects she'll make fun of that.

"Awwww... how cute! Are you planning babies yet? Wait, can dead people even have babies?"

"What? No! Babies? We aren't even...I mean she lives with me, but...that's...too...no!" He sputters.

Anya grins. "No babies? Okay."

"But I am curious. Can dead people have babies?"

"Uh. I don't think so. I mean, she's...not dead, but...no," Warren decides.

Anya gets a sad look on her face. "Oh. Okay."

"Uh, logic would dictate," he points out. "Not just me."

Anya nods. "Of course. Logic."

That still doesn't mean she's not disappointed a little.

"Adoption is an...option," he rhymes, unintentionally.

Anya looks at him. "And where would you find babies to adopt here?"
