[OOM: The Dark Portal is destroyed and the forces of Azeroth must seek shelter on the world of Draenor.]

The Door does not open.

Instead there's a flash of purple light in the form of concentric, oval rings. An older man in dusty blue and silver robes and holding a staff appears at the center of them and for a moment he looks terribly confused. His eyes start to glow the same shade of purple as he looks around, stopping when he spots the Window. The glow fades as his mouth falls open.

Then he grins. "Ha HA! I knew it! Modera owes me a drink!"

"That's something. There are still slaves and slavers in the galaxy."

"That is unfortunate. Does your empire approve?"

"Not officially but they do business with slavers."

Khadgar considers that.

"And do you approve of this?"

"No, I don't, but I don't have a lot of power. I'm one pilot,"

Though he lets some of his anger come through to see how Khadgar reacts.

"I am sorry," Khadgar says sympathetically. That must be hard. "Are there any in power who are trying to change it?"

"Some Senators are trying to and there are small rebel movements but its not always easy to see change other than the Empire trying to strike them down."

"Oh. That is unfortunate." And sounds rather like what Garrosh would do.

"You said Senate but it almost sounds more like a dictatorship."

"It is, but the existence of the Senate soothes those who don't want to think about the true power and danger of the Empire."

Khadgar finishes off his glass of wine.

"I fear I have been fighting for too long. I could not just stand by and let such injustice stand."

Cassian nods, he had a sense that Khadgar might be sympathetic,

"I understand that feeling, that's why I'm one of those rebels. I've been fighting in some way against the injustices of the Empire since I was a boy and it was first created from the Republic."

"Have you had much success?"

“Some, the Empire’s big enough that it has lots of little weak spots but it’s harder to do a lot to them,” He has hope that the Empire will fall, Cassian just wonders if he’ll be alive to see it.

"When the Horde rebelled against Garrosh, the Darkspear Rebellion sought assistance from the Alliance. Are there any you could turn to for help?"

"No, we have enough trouble connecting with each other. Most of what I do is trying to find those who will fight."

Khadgar lets out a huff of air.

"Well, you've impressed me again, Cassian. That is not easy work."

Cassian rubs the back of head, he knows he's good at what he does but someone being impressed is disconcerting, "No, but it needs to be done or else we'll never be able to take down the Empire."

Khadgar gives him a genuine smile.

"That's why it's impressive."

"Thank you. Do you have any more questions about Milliways?"

"Oh, hundreds! But I believe you offered to show me the garage?"

"Yes, its down this way. I'll keep trying to answer what I can,"

He moves a stiffly but the elevator door isn't too far away. It opens onto the more human vehicles and stretches and stretches in all directions.

...Khadgar may never be impressed by gnomish engineering again.

"These machines are amazing! And you fly one?"

"Not these, they're not from my world. I fly ones like those,"

Cassian points down to the starfighters, there's a U-wing's foils near an X-wing that's being worked on.

Khadgar moves down the row, admiring each machine.

"But how do they go? I see no propellers or balloons anywhere!"

Once they get closer to the starfighters and U-Wing, he points out the various round parts, "These are the engines."
