[OOM: The Dark Portal is destroyed and the forces of Azeroth must seek shelter on the world of Draenor.]
The Door does not open.
Then he grins. "Ha HA! I knew it! Modera owes me a drink!"
[OOC: Open all weekend!]

"Win a bet, did you?" he asks, curious.

The Free Magic alone, being strange, is enough to make Khadgar compose himself some. He still offers a smile to the young man but the sheer giddiness he had a moment ago is more restrained.
"Indeed! We've been arguing over the merits of my essays on Dimensional Convergence for years. It's not often such theoretical work gains such proof!" He gestures at the Window.
"Though I do have to say I wasn't trying to prove it just now," he adds, a little bemused. "Nor was I expecting there to be a tavern here. Perhaps you'd be willing to explain?"
no subject
But yes, beneath the skin there is that corruptive, chaotic force.
"As you say, this is a place of dimensional convergence," he spreads his hands to indicate the whole of the space occupied by the tavern. "Others may say it is a nexus, or a multiversal hub, a crossroads between worlds. Or a spatially- and temporally-fix pocket-universe unto itself."
"Most call it Milliways. It is the bar at the end of the universe."
no subject
Though none were this powerful.
"Hm, yes," Khadgar nods as he looks around the bar again, leaning on his staff slightly. "I see. I'll have to take care in my next essay to account for the temporal convergence as well." He's near giddy again, truly pleased to have been proven right.
"Milliways! A clever name. I should like to meet the owner of this fine establishment and congratulate them on their impressive entrepreneurial skills." He will not be surprised if it's the person he's talking to.
no subject
"For the most part, patrons of Milliways are left to their own devices, which really is for the best," he grins. "Milliways offers any and all food and drink items found within any world and time, and people likewise come here from different worlds, different versions of the same world, and different times within them. There are also rooms to rent, and various amenities not found in most mundane taverns."
"Though you are taking your arrival much better than most newcomers do - much less shock and denial, thankfully - tradition does dictate that a newcomer's first drink is free."

He takes his weight off his staff and steps forward to join the young man at Bar. He is not at all surprised when a glass of Dalaran red presents itself to him though the note that accompanies it telling him Welcome to Milliways! slightly does. "Ah, a construct! Yes, that would be most efficient. Thank you, my dear." He takes a sip of wine with a hum of pleasure.
"Marvelous. I am Khadgar," he says to them both with a slight bow, "of Azeroth." He has several titles but that seems like the only one to even have a chance of meaning something here.

"The Bar does take very good care of her patrons," Yrael nods, smiling. "Though she can be quite pushy when she is feeling maternal."
On cue, a plate of fresh leafy greens and vegetables appear on the counter in front of Yrael, who puts a mock-horrified hand lightly to his chest. "You wound me, madam."

He's dressed in a nice black suit or at least he appears to be dressed this way.

Khadgar is at a loss. Beings like this don't exist in his reality. He's not even certain what he's sensing.
And he knows his name.
"...I fear you have me at a disadvantage, sir."

He takes a drink from a his glass of beer.
"How do you like the end of this universe."

"I will be sure to investigate it, thank you."
He still doesn't know what he's dealing with. Best to be polite.

For those with eyes to see, Sinric's pale skin is covered with a fine net of glowing gold, magic sitting under his skin. Gold also lingers in the irises of his eyes.

"Indeed! I've been arguing for years that there must be some place where dimensions may cross one other, eventually all converging at one point where worlds would meet!" He shrugs once. "It seems I failed to account for the temporal convergence but I'll be sure to correct my notes."
Now he looks a touch sheepish. "Not that I was looking for proof just now. Could you imagine, randomly teleporting through realities?" It's rhetorical and he laughs a bit. "Yet apparently my spell was off by quite a bit to bring me here." How embarrassing. And dangerous.

When he seems to be not doing anything, he asks, "Why?"

He also gathers the framework for the simplest of prismatic barriers in his mind but he really doesn't want to cast it. He just teleported a very long way, after all, and it's been a very long day. He'd very much like to rest before doing anything more magical.
"Why because my essays on dimensional convergence have been proven correct!" He's a touch giddy at the idea though his next words are more bemused. "I hadn't thought to account for the temporal aspect, however," he says with a gesture to the window, "nor for there to be a tavern here. What clever soul thought of that?"
no subject
His entrance was dramatic but some people are just that way, Cassian's not going to decide anything until he knows more.

"I have! Usually the Bronze Flight keeps the realities separated but I've been theorizing for years that there was some place where they would come together naturally. And here we are!"
He makes a mental note of the Landlord being elusive. Interesting.
no subject
He can't tell from the phrasing, but it sounds powerful. Slowly he shifts to lean forward and winces as his ribs protest.
