[ooc: post David/Charlie. slowtimed. v.v. slowtimed.]
Charlie enters the wear, wearing a green t-shirt that reads "Tis Himself" in gold Celtic-like letters.
His hair is also green.
Please don't ask him to sing "Dannyboy". He might hurt you.

"No, I have my own house. I stay there with lots of other people. You can get there from here if you like. You just need a key."

"I suppose you could call us friends. It's more along the lines of me being his father, really. But we are friends."

"Not really. I'm very old to be a father. And Yamino is very old to be a son."
Another grin and the little boy gets up and reaches to the top of his head, on tip toe, and pats it.
"Come on. The hairdye didn't have enough time to get that far in. You can figure this out..."

"Yes, that'd be me."

And him with hickeys on his neck.

"I'm well aware, Charlie. And as I've told him and will now tell you, I don't mind. I want him happy...not perpetually locked in a ball of angst over the situation with you and I and all that. He's got a big heart...for all that he seems to think it's just his...well."
An impish smile.
"Anyway, that's actually why I came over. I wanted you to know I wasn't upset."
no subject
Pause, pause.
"Thank you."
no subject
"You're welcome. Feel better?"

"In the 'not going to be smote and/or bamboozled in some hideos manner' sort of way."

"That's good then. Now..."
He stares at the piano.
"You know how to work this thing?"
Grin.

"Anything you'd like to play. I like music...but I'm absolutely useless at it. Not an in-tune bone in my body. If you knocked the lot of them with a hammer you'd get a fiery cacophony of noise. Nope...no skill in that whatsoever."
He smiles, though, wings closing a bit more around him to almost make a comfortable chair-type thing.
"Something soft might be nice though."

Words are flowing out like
endless rain into a paper cup
They slither while they pass
They slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow waves of joy
are drifting thorough my open mind
Possessing and caressing me
Jai guru o deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Images of broken light which
dance before me like a million eyes
They call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a
restless wind inside a letter box
they stumble blindly as
they make their way across the universe
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Sounds of laughter shades of life
are ringing through my open ears
inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which
shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on across the universe
Jai guru o deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Jai guru deva

"That was lovely, Charlie."
And he smiles and looks at him.
"I suppose I see what David sees..."

He's grinning though. Warm.

"I don't try for cute, but I suppose I'll have to accept it eventually. Usually, I go for beautiful or attractive...but I can swing with 'cute'. I guess it's a side effect of being eight years old so often."
Another impish grin and then a tilt of the head.
