*he shakes his head*

I'm from a different world. But from what I've been told, my Isle of the Winds is somewhat like Scotland is on earth. At least, they both seem so share cold, wind, and sheep.

"I couldn't say. I've never been to Scotland," he gives a slight smile.

Neither have I. I have been to the Isle of the Winds, though.

*he smirks*

It'd be rather amusing if I hadn't, considering.

"I agree, considering that is where you come from. So, what's it like there? It sounds...windy," he says lamely.

*he grins*

It's where my father was from, but I was raised in Sendaria, which was mostly open farmland. I've only been to Riva for a little while. I'll be living there when I go back to where I belong though. I sort of have to.

"Are you stuck here?"

*he nods*

Yes. At the moment I'm Bound. As is my wife. It's not so bad though. It's nice not to have to return to Riva just yet. I have a lot of work and a vacation after all the insanity well...it's nice. I'm enjoying it.

"Oh, you're wife is here too?"

*he nods*

She stays upstairs, mostly.

"Why's that?"

*he shrugs*

Something about making a grand entrance.

"Looks like women are the same everywhere," he says with a smile.

*he nods*

Oh yes. That stays the same everywhere, I'm pretty sure.

"If only there was something we could do about it. I would stick them on an island, but trust me, it doesn't work."

Considering I live on an island and I like my sanity?

*he grins*

He laughs.

"Good point."

*he nods*

What about you? What sort of place are you from?

"well, originally I am from a pretty overpopulated city called Los Angeles, but right now I am stuck on a deserted island."

*he looks at Boone*

How'd you manage that?

"I was flying back from Sydney with my sister when our plane crashed. So now we are stuck there. Except it seems that a lot of the people have found their way into the bar, so it might not be totally hopeless."

*he blinks*

But if you were flying, why can't you just fly back off? What's a plane? I know the word, but I can't imagine one crashing. They tend to have a great deal of grass and don't...move so much.

"Umm, not so much. In our world, they are big metal things that carry people from place to place. Ours was pretty much entirely destroyed. It's a miracle we survived. A lot of people survived."

*he nods*

Well...okay. But why would you travel in a big metal thing. Or...does your world not have magic?

"If it does, we don't have it for commercial use."

Well, that's silly.
