After his adventure and conversation with Adam, Raven remains in the bar.
He settles in a booth with some cider and a plate of banana bread.
He's adding beads and feathers to what looks like a dreamcatcher.
Bother him, if you like. Or have some snacks.
[Where Raven meets Asar-suti, for a discussion of purpose, speaks to Ace about Doom, briefly, then discusses food, and with some friend-schmoop. Also, Michael stops by, on Random's recommendation, and they discuss business.]

This somebody is a pale young man with dark hair, and the slightest hint of purple on his features, as if he were walking in a faint violet spotlight.

"It is. I often make such things."
He smiles.
"Would you sit, with me?"
no subject
"Thank you. Sorry, I'm just curious about all kinds of magic. What is that good for?"
There's a mug of coffee in his hand, and he drinks fom it.

"It is not finished, yet, so there are a few things it may be. It might be a dream-ward, or a spell-ward, or a thing that welcomes luck."
He looks up.
"Which do you think it should be?"

He nods. "A dream-ward, then." And he chooses two green beads, and a speckled brown feather--weaving them into the design."
"I am sorry, I did not introduce myself."
"They call me Raven."
no subject
He looks at the dream-ward. "There's Dream of the Endless, of course, but he doesn't do all the nightmares people have. Not intentionally, at least."
no subject
"We've met. He is very comfortable."
no subject
That would be the last term Asar-Suti would use to describe any Endless, especially Dream. He was in Milliways during the Nyarlathotep incident, after all.

She looks gleeful, despite the fact that she could probably stand to sleep the day away.
Challenge taken.

"Hello, Ace. How goes today, for you?"

"Tonks, Bernard's fiancee, was missing in action last night. Evidently the nasty sorts from her world caught her. She's a cop, basically, and they're... well, pond scum is some levels above them on the chain, I think. Tim was... distraught." She won't say precisely why though. Not hers to tell. Ever.
"And then one of my friends, Svava, had to leave. She's a valkyrie, one of those norse warrior women angel things. Evidently her world is coming to an end, in some big nasty battle she has to take part in."
"Gave her some nitro."
no subject
Raven is grave. "If I can be of help in either of those matters, please let me know. I like Tonks and Bernard quite well, for what I know of them."
"I am sure the nitro will prove most useful."
"Shall we talk of other things?"
He does not mention Tim's distress. That is a personal thing.

"Erm. Good banana bread?" She's having trouble thinking of non-doomy things. It hasn't been this bleak in the bar since Dream went mad.
no subject
"I had no idea."

He really can't help himself.
no subject
"Yeah... just got some things to think over."
no subject
"Will you sit? I have cider, and some type of cake."
no subject
"...yeah. They're not."

"I will listen, if you will speak."
