It is a known fact that a mun who once rpsterbates will, in fact, give in to rpsterbating again, even if she had sworn never to, for the sake of her sanity.

This may be why Kitty is sitting with Sunny on her lap, an amused expression on her face.

The amused expression may be caused by the fact that Sunny is reading to her Alice in Wonderland, pausing now and again to babble about one part of the story or another.

*Tim bites his lip glancing around.*

Well, niether Dora Nor bernard are here.....

*He smiles at Kitty, patting down his pockets. He actually prepared for this one. Cause he's smart like that.*

So I guess we'd have to ask this nice lady whos watching you if it's all right.

Not so long as Sunny obeys the rules.

*He turns back to sunny.*

Which are, stay in the common room, don't go out of sight, come back when called, and no more then an hour, okay?

Kitty facepalms, and sighs.

"Go for it. If your mother asks, it's all Edmund's fault."

Sunny nods cheerfully, and obediently at Tim, and glees in her tiny cute blonde heart.

*Tim nods happily. Someone elses fault means Bernard doesn't get mad at him. He starts pulling small stones with animals inscribed on them froma pocket.*

Bunny, Raven, Wolf, Bat, Sanke... Ah, here we go, Lion, right?

...Oh dear. Sunny's eyes have lit up.

"Snake?"

The blonde, however, has bright, shining eyes.

"Sunny...be snake?"

*Tim pulls out the jade stone with a black snake on it.*

All right. All you gotta do is hold this tight in your hands and think snake. When the time is up, just think really hard about letting it go....

Sunny beams, and does so.

And there is a tiny snake where there was a tiny girl. (Tiny being relative, and all.)

*Tim is grinning quite widely. He puts one finger in his ear, just making sure the fish is still in place, then peers at sunny.*

there you go kid. You're a snake!

From her seat on the couch, Susan lifts her hand in a wave of greeting, smiling a little.

[prydeful]

"Long days and pleasant nights, Susan," Kitty smiles back, waving a free hand.

Sunny waves, but is at the part with the Wed Kween. "Hafta wun 'fast as 'oo can just to stay inna place," and all.

This is obviously a deep philosophical question, and she is Quite Occupied contemplating it, as Kitty hoists her onto one hip and moves over, with book, to the couch.

"And may ye have twice the number," Susan tells her, with a smile for Sunny as well.

"How do'ee fare?"

Sunny is muttering about it all being, "i'log'cal. If 'oo wun, 'oo move," and Kitty rolls her eyes and smoothes the toddler's hair.

"Someone doesn't want to go to bed, so I'm trying to tire her out," she says a little dryly. "And yourself?"

"More tired than she is, I wot," she answers, but holds out her hands in an offer to take Sunny.

"Long day?"

Sunny is passed over, still frowning, and glaring at a drawing of a chess piece. "No 'log'cal," is muttered again.

Susan presses a kiss to the top of the little girl's head and bounces her lightly on her knee.

"I thought I'd try to catch up on all that's been done in the stables while I were gone," she says. "Caspian and Lisa did very well, I wot, but I'd feel better knowing."

And if work is a distraction, well, mayhap there's naught amiss with that.

No, not a thing.

Sunny looks up at Susan and says, grumpily, "Cawwol dumbass," and goes back to her book, curling against Susan as she does so.

Kitty facepalms, but figures that it's not her job to try and improve Sunny's language.

She's not INSANE about trying impossible things.

"So everything's alright, I imagine?"

Susan cuddles the little girl close and tells her, "Ah, Sunny-soh, but the stories are true."

Looking up at Kitty, she adds quietly, "The horses and all? Aye, they're fine."

It's not a complete answer, but it's at least part of one.

"No sense," muttered, even as she turns the page and snuggles closer.

"The horses and all," Kitty agrees, "and you."

"Stories don't always make sense," Susan tells her. "There are things here I'd never have believed until I saw them, do'ee ken?"

She's still looking down at the top of Sunny's head as she tells Kitty,

"I'm-- I'm well enough. 'Bert's better, and that helps."

"'Ike sense," grumpily still. Not that Sunny has high standards for "sense" but still!

"I'm glad of that," Kitty answers, watching her.
