Faith's not certain what Kitty's plans for Edmund entail, but the phrase Won't be back for a while probably means it's gonna be good fun for both of them.

Never one to stand in the way of romance or intercourse, she has agreed to take Ed's bartending shift for the night.

Which is why she's behind the bar, clad in a very short red leather miniskirt and matching (backless) halter top, nervous and trying to hide it.

The specials board reads as follows:

"Hullo, love."

Faith leans over the bar and kisses his cheek, then serves his drink.

"How's it hanging?"

"Just fine, dearest. Just fine. How are you doing with the bartending? Going mad yet?"

He sips and savors the alcohol on the back of this tongue.

"Well, no more than I was before."

Faith winks at him. "The tits draw a crowd, though."

"They are spectacular," he agrees.

"Well thank you," Faith says, and bends over the bar again, just for him. "I'm fond of them."

He oggles.

Well, they're right there.

"As are we all, I would say, love."

Faith grins wickedly.

"I'm fond of...well, your lack of them...too."

He sits up straighter and says smugly, "Thank you. It's all the clean living."

"Oh, is that what it is?"

Faith winks. "Probably why I have such big ones then."

"You just keep doing what you're doing. Your devoted following will just sit back and enjoy the results."

Faith arches, a little.

"Kind of like that, yes," Charlie murmurs, appreciating like mad.

Faith giggles and leans over the bar to give him a friendly peck on the lips.

"Love you."

"Love you too."

He sips. "How are you holding up, with . . . everything?"

Faith's eyebrows go up.

"Define 'everything.'"

"Your new singledom and whatever happened this week while I was away."

"I'm alright. It's been a weird week, but I'm alright."

"That's good. What was weird about it?"

"I had a friend comatose in my guest room for most of it. And Nick, Alex and I had sex."

There is much blinking.

And then there is swigging of drink, followed by some coughing.

"Oh," he gasps out eventually.

"Yeah."

Faith pats his back helpfully. "Alright?"

He nods. "Who's--um, who's in the coma?"

He does not want to deal with the mental image of Nick, Alex and Faith. Not in public, anyway.

"She's not anymore. Isabel."

"Christ," he mutters. "What happened? Is Warren okay?"

"She was possessed by the spirit of the person she was in a former life," Faith says with a sigh. "And I haven't seen Warren in a couple of days."
