Happy Hour
Indy and Veronica did Happy Hour together last week. Indy's heard about it ever since, from a deeply (if perhaps a bit theatrically) wounded Lilly. His protest of "but Princess, I've been asking ya to do Happy Hour for ages and you've always said it sounded like too much work" fell on deaf ears, but eventually he figured out how to make it up to her.
Lilly's getting her own Happy Hour. She's behind the bar, chalking up the specials list with a serious look on her face. There's not much that Lilly takes seriously, but alcohol is on the list.
That's why the specials are mostly shots.
Three Stages of Friendship
Virgin Whore
Sweet Flower
She smiles triumphantly up at the board celebrating a few of her favorite things. The liquor bottles are within easy reach. The shot glasses have been washed and lined up. Her skirt is shorter than her apron. This is as close to ready as it gets.
"What up, Milliways? Who wants a drink?"

Baby Mordred, on the other hand, is utterly ignoring everything except his attempts to grab fistfulls of his mother's hair.

Lemonade's easy. She sets it in front of Morgan.
"There you go. Anything for the rugrat?"

Alanna sits down with a quick, easy smile. She looks very... healthy.

"That's because my instructions covered a lot of ground. The manual only came with like, two suggestions."
She shakes her head sadly. What kind of unimaginative people write those things?
"You look great, by the way. Can I get you something to drink?"

Expectantly.
Intently.
Mordred, on the other hand, just burbles happily in his mother's lap.

Mac's got her laptop under one arm as she approaches. She smiles, a bit hesitant, and swings it onto the bartop as she takes a seat.
Bartender. Brothel madam. Man, that girl's racking up a resume.
no subject
"Heya, Mac."
Lilly's answering smile is just a touch hesitant too. They haven't seen each other in... well. Since a really not fun evening.
"How's it going?"

There's a somewhat already tipsy Mal strolling up to the bar.

She grins.

Lilly grins at him before ducking to grab the scotch, thus causing the skirt to shift up a tiiiiny bit more.
"Yeah, it's been ages. How've you been? I mean, aside from the thing with the other evil version of you and wizard war and... should I make the scotch a double?"

Dubiously.

"Tirian!"
She beams at him.
"It's been ages, how are you? Can I get you something to drink? First one's on the house for fellow Narnian nobility."

She snags the Jack, tequila, and 151 from under the bar.
"Third one's free, by the way. Because of the name."
And because Lilly likes getting people drunk. Shhhh.

He slides up in a new black suit (Valentino, provided by bar.) turns his back against tonight's bartender because he is lounging and this requires no effort at all. He can watch her legs just fine reflected against the sunglasses he has in hand.
"Great evening, Lilly. Dead. Neptune. California." Politely. He always forgets the year, it is a slight detail. "In the mood for a Virgin Whore, please."
no subject
"Nice to see the back of your head again too, Patrick."
She starts mixing the vodka, lime juice, and Kool-Aid.

"Is the third stage of friendship betrayal? Gimme one of those."
He takes a moment to sit down and remember the whole age thing.
"And if I can't have one of those, just gimme a milkshake and put something in it to make me feel better."
That means a lot of chocolate or a lot of alcohol. Her call.
no subject
"Uh, okay, third stage of friendship is actual rum 151, but that could lead to betrayal. Mostly it just leads to nudity and friction though."
She decides against adding alcohol to anger, and starts making a milkshake.
"You like chocolate?"
It's a rhetorical question.

Lifting a hand, he grins at her. "Hullo, Lilly. I hear you've been talking with Lucy. I suppose I should be watching my step?"

"I have no idea what you mean by that!"
It's almost convincing, till she starts giggling.
"Yeah, you totally should be. But congratulations anyway!"

But now and again it is nice to sit at the Bar and have a drink, even if the drink tends to either appear out of thin air or be carried along by vermin.
Judging by his expression, it's hard to say whether he considers the addition of Lilly and her... very short skirt... is an improvement on the rats.

"Hey there. Can I get you anything?"
