First Post: Henry McCoy, the Beast
OOM: Pre-Milliways
Hank bounds into the room feet first with the grace and precision only a nearly 600 lbs. cat-like mutant can manage, landing in a crouch with one claw on the ground. He quickly rises to his feet. His eyes widen in surprise as he watches the room, seemingly trying to see it all, and everyone, at the same time.
With an absentmindedly look, his fingers press over a large device in his hands then places it in a pouch on his belt.
Drawing aside from the door to a nearby table he looks around the room, eagerly taking in everything. His eyes glow in interest as he sees the bar and how people react to it. He then catches sight of the observation window. His eyes widen and a smile comes to his face. It is the smile of a child who has fouind a new toy.
"Oh my stars and garters! Breathtaking!"
He stretches like a cat, an almost seven foot tall, and almost 700 pound blue-cat- the shape of a man,a dn then casts his gaze around, his mind racing in amazement.

He's the first blue person she's seen. Furry, however...
Somebody's watching...
"Good evening, my dear example of pulchitrude at it's finest! My name is Henry McCoy, PhD, but my friends call me Hank. Ahh, bnot to intrude, but can you tell me where exactly I am?
Re: Somebody's watching...
A quiet chuckle, and she stands up. Nothing quite out of the ordinary about her, she's wearing jeans, keds, and a blue blouse. She motions to the Observation Windows, then to the bar in general. "This is Milliways, at the End of the Universe. My name is Svava, and its nice to meet you, Hank."
Re: Somebody's watching...
Words seem to fail him for a moment. As she speaks again he smiles and then sweeps her a wide bow, his eyes glinting with good humor,. his mouth curved in a clothes-jawed grin, only a few teeth showing.
"My greetings Svava. It is a pleasure to make your aquaintance. Ahh, which End of the Universe, by the way?"
And then he looks around and the back at her...
"And which universe for that matter? I somehow doubt this plane is located in the direction or ambience of my own residence."
Re: Somebody's watching...
"As to which universe, that's quite a good question. In your world and time, do they know of such things as other worlds? Aside from traveling in starships to other ones beyond the sky? This place here, Milliways, touches a great many worlds and times. Some of them are quite similar, just different in a few ways. Other worlds are quite different, but they still touch here. I'm not sure which End of the Universe this is, though given how many places it touches, maybe its all of them?"
She looks over to the Observation Windows herself, biting her lip. "Even when other worlds are gone, this place does still survive."
Re: Somebody's watching...
"Yes we do know of such places. Sounds like Roma's House."
He turns thoughtful as he listens to her.
"A world that touches every molecule fo the universe at once and yet none would require the power to hold a stasis of opportunity and probability and tertiary or even quadrary amounts of energy and replacement ststic folds of space-time in order to..."
He trails off, his eyes flickering at fast speed as he mumbles what sound like equations under his breath.

His eyes light up at the mention of science. "I'm a scientist, too!"

For a moment he is tempted to disbelieve the young man, but then remembers his own childhood and what it felt like to not be respected despite his genius. His voice softens.
"I would enjoy talking of science with you then sometime."
then he realizes he hasnt asked and does.
"ah... what is your name?"

If Hank is an alchemist, Al can learn from him. If he's the right kind of alchemist, Al can learn enough.
