Aeryn would have approached like a shadow, but for the gurgling baby in her arms.

"May I speak with you?"

Bernard glances up, and blinks. "Sure."

"Whose kid is that?"

"It's about a room extension."

She looked at Andrei, she hadn't forgotten about him.

"He's mine. Or rather, not mine, but I have him for the day. It's complicated."

Andrei smiled as though he found this vaguely amusing.

He sips his coffee and folds his newspaper up.

"How do you need your room extended?"

From her booth, Val notices Bernard, and stands, walking off the the 'fresher for a moment, then returns, looking more professional, and smiling.

"Hey, Bernard. How was your honeymoon and everything?"

Bernard glances up and smiles a little thinly.

"Hey, Val. It was good."

"That's good." She pauses for a moment, but goes on, gently, but confidently. "I'd like to talk to you about getting back to work, actually."

And there's Dinah, gliding over on her wheels.

"Hi there, Bernard, how are you doing?"

"It's just great, thankya," she says, positively beaming. "I'm really enjoying it.

"But there's a slight problem. It appears the door has returned for me."

*Hopefully this doesn't change his mood. Tim is sitting at that table he always sits at when he's in a bad mood, the one that is usually covered in empty drink glasses by the time he's done. The table is in fact covered with drinks he bought from the bar, but he's only drinking tea. On the table is a sign "FREE DRINKS, HELP ME WORRY." He glances over at Bernard.*

"I know that, ah, Flash was assembling a list of doctors and healers and so on ... and I was thinking it might be a good idea to have an infirmary here. A set of rooms, or even just one room, with a few basic supplies and equipment."

Jill creeps out of her booth and up to bar. She doesn't even really think about ordering a drink from Bernard and instead asks one from bar as usual when someone's not behind her. She closes her eyes and sighs as she lets the steam from her tea flow through her nostrils.
